Respekt. Top Video.

I cut a lot of that here in MN, its called Bamagillia, we used to peel it in the 60's and 70's. If i had a bunch of it like that a guy could cut 50,000 feet of logs in one day. Now the Fed's call it Balsam Poplar
it looks like the CM model. it has the same decompression valve on the top of it. Oh and the 28" ES light are perfect for these saws. I run a 441 RCM with the 28" ES light and I muffler modded it also. great running and sounding saw
I'm seasick from watching this video.
Sry i film now with tripod! :)
Harvester Forwarder More I would love to see a ton more videos. Seeing a great Stihl in the hands of a pro is always a pleasure.
Fella in orange. good operator and is always looking around for potential hazzard - imop!
Real professionals.
Sehr gut gemacht!
Ich werds weiterleiten! :)
Danke schön.
nice work, very proffessional. keep up the good work...greetings from Slovenia
big trees that are hollow in the middle can be very dangerous to fell. this guy is good.
Yeah!
I can see which one has the newest and best equipment and which one uses what will do the job that he can afford. Is the permit to cut for the day or for a certain number of trees?
That saw is shap and bad ass.
How old were they or what type of poplar was it
I think you'll find that stihl's tend to have more torque than a husqvarna equivalent - I imagine that why his saw is bogging down is because the chain is very sharp and is biting the wood very aggressively.
LG
Is the 441 a C M-Tronic ? and is it stock or ported ?
The Stihl ES Light in 28'' and 36'' are nice bars with out the weight
thats some crazy bottle necking at the butt of that tree
Ein proffi am arbeit
The guy with the checkered shirt seems to be a little bit unexperienced. If you're working with a chainsaw, always keep your visor shut and wear protective googles too. Furthermore, never let your saw all down as he did at 3:24.
true about the goggles and visor. about putting his saw to the ground like he did , true you should respect your equipment at all times but a chainsaw isnt made from glass. it should witstand the beating and abuse of everyday forrest life.if it doesnt you should switch brands. (and yeah its a late comment but ive only seen the video just today :D )

Complimenti
Fella in chequered shirt needs to slow down. bit too much of a rush, saw jaming imop!
good video
The use of a plastic wedge in those bucking cuts can save you a lot of trouble as it keeps the chainsaw cut open without pinching the chainsaw bar. I know it means stopping the cut, tap a wedge in and it takes maybe 20 seconds. The last segment shows what happens when saw bar got pinched really tight and trying to wrestle the chainsaw out, a wedge was then used to free up the chainsaw to pull it out. Also a plunge boring cut at the stump might have prevented the barber chair splitting of log.
Bore cuts will save your butt log and make for a more under controll fall. Nice poplar logs tho.
I would've used a longer bar, he's lucky that it didn't barber chair
Thats true, but usually we don't have that big trees in Austria!
One can hear younger lad's chain a bit too tense, his bar shows the pump is not oiling enough either.Along with the aggressive chain I guess that's what makes it bogging once it's all in.
Ya I would never hirer the dude in checkered shirt - no respect for machines!
Michel Labelle olll
good vid
good work boys.
That guy cracked the thickest part. wasted wood
common tree in estonia :) love this big junks :P
its easy to make m³ with those! :)
Harvester Forwarder & More yeah indeed :)

That chain is hungry a bit
60er schwert ?
brichstufe?
super
Und die 660 hat auch ein 63er schwert drauf
My Stihl 261 broke down after only 3 years of cutting firewood. Stihl said it was my fault because I didnt use the Stihl oil and alcylat gasoline! 026 was a much more robust saw and I had one for allmost 20 years and used shell oil and 95 gas mixed 2%. Not happy with the Stihl 261 and Stihl support.
My 261 is from 2010 and I had no problem yet.
@@matthias4971 my stihl ms 261 its from 2011 Dec. And she has no problems

sry bruchstufe?
Sehr schlecht gefällt. Das geht bedeutend besser.
best stihl++
typical no power stihls bogging down even with soft wood, Should be running Huskys

Most of the views were not through video search, but because of youtube suggested videos.
Most searched tag were, "STIHL", "STHIL" "Stihl 441"
But i guess, the views come because of the preview picture!
greetings from Austria!
It's called a tripod. Or get someone without Parkinsons to hold the camera.
Well then try to drink 10 beers and then set up a tripod or hold a camera.
