Excellent video, which shows you do not need an over-weight, expensive, gas guzzling motorcycle to enjoy the open road and long tours. Take note motorcycle press and media who are constantly plugging unnecessary machines that are too fast, too powerful and too heavy.

Beautiful places and wonderful routes to do on a motorcycle. I also have a CB125F, and I hope to be able to ride around the world once I retire. No prose ;)

      Hi!
I used the cheapest waterproof bags I could find in my region - "XLMOTO H2O Waterproof 2+1 Bag Set". Despite having doubts in them, they turned out to be quite sturdy. I have been using them now for many trips before and after that ride to Norway.
Additionally, I attached a normal backpack wrapped in the rain cover on top with bungee cords.

Lovely scenery. You certainly don't need a big bike to do this journey.

I own the same bike and this is so cool..! What was the longest you drove non stop? Was your air cooling sufficiënt?

    • @HowTo-wj6jw

I did about 400-500 km during the first day when crossing Sweden. That was my longest day ride.
Generally, I tried to stick to secondary roads riding it at 60-80 km/h to not over-rev the engine. I practiced a small 10 min breaks every hour or so to give the bike and myself a bit of rest.
The weather was quite chilly also which helped with cooling I believe.

Se fai un viaggio in estate puoi sempre fare 500 km al giorno però fermando la moto 40 minuti minimo io ho un cbr 125 del 2005 ho fatto viaggetti da 300 400 in un giorno per tutta la sicilia buona strada😊

According to the dashboard it was below 2l/100km. I haven't calculated if that was true or not.

I drove approx. 4800km on my 2021 CB125F from Denmark to Gothenburg- North Cape and back in June 2024 with my brother on his CBF125 2013. The dash said 43,5km pr liter, which seems about right when adding the receipts up. This was fully packed and close to full throttle most the way.
