    You guys might want to fix your definition of NFPA. In the fluid power biz, it stands for National Fluid Power Association.

      Both the National Fluid Power Association AND the National Fire Protection Association make safety recommendations about fittings and adapters. Confusing but true :) thanks for your comment!

    Here's an idea - why not come up with some kind of symbol or marking system to ID the fitting and size? Whoever does that first will become a millionaire - at least if technicians get to choose parts (rather than the suits). "ORB can easily be confused...." yes.
