I showed that video to my classical guitar teacher (a former dean of music in a major University and a fan of referring to piano keyboards for understanding musical theory) and he was seriously impressed. I think both David and Rick are great. Remember that Beato is a producer and has a long professional career behind him already. He is used to mingling with professionals while David is obviously directing his teaching to learners an curious. I also follow Julian Bradley who is more into jazz standards. And i follow irregularly maybe 5..6 other music teaching channels. But David an Rick are the ones that I follow “every video”.

Dedicated videos to specific time signatures, progressions, modes, chord extensions and what not, is a really good catalogue. You also describe these things in a very simplistic manner, things that could be rather complex at times, yet you manage to make someone understand it very easily.

Well done. Think internet videos are the best thing for teaching a range of subjects. But definitely music. Audio and visual with the viewer in control of when it's watched, able to pause, able to rewatch. A form of humanity's library that was waiting for the technology to make it possible. Well done from a bit further along the south coast (Southampton). Tapestry is one of my all time favourite albums… Goffin & King wrote some amazing songs. Melody and words were outstanding. Not much can hold a candle to it these days.
