      he's not really doïng that
      we don't have any evidence that the proto-indo-europeans used throat singing & we only do it with pre-christian northern europeans in pop culture bc it sounds "barbaric" or "pagan" to western ears
      it's fine to enjoy this aesthetic just keep in mind it's really just a rule of cool & not an actual historical reconstruction

On that note, this sound being contemporary or non-traditional doesn’t take away from its cultural context. We are our ancestors, and we write our future. @xicorxicorx6817 Ramayana happened in different Yug and in different Kalpa.
      Vishwamitra 's name is mentioned in vedas, which only means he was there in the vedic period when the battle of 10 kingdoms happened.
      Our ancestors started migrating when ice age happened, and the place became inhospitable.
      We introduced the animal horse to the world. We introduced the cow milk.
      After the battle of 10 kingdoms, bharata and puru tribes got merged, and the kuru clan started. The same kuru clan that fought the battle of Mahabharata.
      Cyrus the Great was also from kuru Clan.
      Hari River in haraiva ( modern-day herrat in Afghanistan) is where we started composing rig veda.
      We also attained the moksha by doing Soma rudra yajna where we do yajna by sacrificing the juice of Soma plant ( God of plant) in fire in the name of lord rudra.
      This plant used to be found in Mt mujavat ( modern name- Mt muztagh ata) and the yajna used to be done in kashi (modern name kashgarh) situated on the foot of Mount mujavat.

    • @Waagal
      @Waagal  9 месяцев назад

      Hey,
      It's actually polyrhythms :) This one combine 5 and 3 (and 4!) to make a 15 beat (that you can divide by 3 and 5 !)
      So one frame drum is in 5/8 (with hitting on the 1s and 3s) and the other one is on 4/4.
      The kick plays on 3/8 hitting the 1s, and handpan make a cycle (or chords progression) of 6 times the rhythm of the first frame drum (the one in 5/8).
      Hope it helps you in some ways ;)
      My advice would be to play with numbers !

    • @CassandraPantaristi
      @CassandraPantaristi 2 месяца назад

      I kinda doubt they did throatsinging. If anything, PIE music was probably closer to Vedic chants and hymns, with a tribal vibe with drums, flutes, and other tribal instruments. But that's my speculation. The PIE peoples were a mixture of Neolithic and Siberians that migrated westward. So in my view, I think their music would be basically tribal chants/hymns.
