I had to buy that astro hdmi adapter for me to use the a40 headset with mixamp but when you hook it up it drops you back to 60hz on coldwar NoT 120hz, have to hook the ps5 directly to monitor or TV, no adaptors can be used that I know of
If u upgrade to the ps5 copy digitally like I did if you're using a monitor that supports 120hz just enable performance mode in the settings shown above and you'll be good to go

@@NottDarkk hey man, mine is now working at 120hz!!! Whilst it turns out I have the 2k version of the monitor, I think they should both work. In the end, strangely enough, the thing I did that seemed to work was turn freesync ON, which is weird as everyone says this should be off - I can't think of anything else I did differently

i did this, the 120hz option was grayed out but still said enabled and ray tracing was off
The ps5 can't handle both of those at once, you get one or the other

Disable ray trace and then you will have 120hz enabled to, try it out and let me know if it worked for you
