Check/replace the Engjne Coolant Temperature sensor which sends the info to the ECU. Early ones have a blue connector later ones have a black connector on KE-Jetronic. Resistance should be aroumd the 360 ohm mark at 70 degrees. If it's higher than that the injection will throw all its toys out of the cot and either stall engjne or develop a misfire due to air/fuel ratio being affected
Hi Will, Some extra steps if the misfire ain’t electrical : Check tappets (hydraulic?) Check compression Pull the plug leads off one at a time. The one that does not make a difference is the troubled pot. Consider an air leak? Of course you know all this as an RAC guy (AA?) Regards
I had an F150 5.4 that wouldn't start misfiring on one cylinder until the coil was really hot, like 45min of driving. I had a subaru WRX that wanted a ground wire to every single coil or it would misfire at higher boost, when it got to the secondary windings on the coils, it didn't have enough ground, took me over a year to figure that out. Had another car that was misfiring on one cylinder, the connector to the injector had a slightly bent pin. Another truck misfires on 1 cylinder from a spark plug thats on its way out, pretty sporatic though, can't change it easily as it has a threaded insert that might come out if I pull the plug. Best of luck, the Med looks nice, but the UK seems pretty friggen nice compared to our winters here in Alberta.
Yeah bit busy with Carol and popping out for beer n pint with Alan later all being well...ps daunt go I'd defo buy a bike my bike wallet is twitching😂😂😂
Add a few extra earth straps. If ones gone others probally need replacing.
I'm not normally into Mercs, but that coupe is so achingly cool! Congrats on the MOT.
Those coupes have such classic lines. Were I to hit the lottery, I'd buy an early nineties 500SEC AMG model.
PPC stickers at some point?..... I'm sure that'll totally fix my power steering rack, pump, fuel sender and oil cooler leak 😂
Ah, someone who shares out philosophy 🤣 Yes, we're going to get some done soon enough!

Yes! Great video. Always enjoyed the staff car stuff & this new YouTubing is spot on. Hope the popularity rockets and there’s plenty more to come 👌
