    For all those of you who have never tried tamarind, its sweet and tangy. Kinda sticky and slightly gooey as well. 10/10 from me, I love tamarind flavoured stuff!

    Tamarind or tamarindo is a big flavor in Mexico. It's known for being in candies. You should try the drink, it's nice.

      Actully here in the philippines tamarind is called sampaloc here in the philippines tamarind is the best candy so sweat but not to much sour.

    In Jamaica 🇯🇲 we call it “Tambrin” in Patois...we use it to make drinks, candies (Tambrin ball..etc). I’ve never had a sweet Tamarind but I love it sour anyway. 👌🏾🤗

    You should make tamarind chutney, eat it with lentil and rice the Indian style, it’s so delicious!! Tamarind chutney is good when cooked sweet goes well with all vegetarian dishes

    I our country they make tamarind candy. Which is wrapped like a candy but only difference is the tamarind is dipped in sugar and wrapped it like a candy thats how we do it.🙂 They only use the sweeter kind of tamarind.😀

    Tamarind is the base flavor and fruit for most Mexican candies plus chili. Very tasty in salty tamarind pulp with sugar and chilli, tamarind juice, tamarind with beer, etc. xo from México

    They are always sooo sour in my hometown. Or may be we only use it when it gets so sour. I nevet eat it raw or roasted, but use it as a additional seasoning in a soup. It is indeed good (a bit sour) and refreshing.

    The seeds are kinda pretty tho, and they sound like glass marbles when rolled around in her hand. This doesn’t look very appetizing though.

      Yeah tamarindo looks pretty freaky but it makes a very good candy when you mix it with sugar, we eat it a lot where I'm from

    I couldnt eat these. I'd be too annoyed with having to constantly spit out big seeds. I'm chunky at heart and like to eat without interruptions 😂😂😂😂

    I just got some sweet tamarind yesterday! I like it a lot better than sour
