J.cole heard this track before his apology I think. He heard where this was going and decided he didn't wanna be apart of it bc he honestly has no real beef with Kendrick so he was gonna stay out. Have no real proof but def think it could have been a big part of his decision.
He was doing this from the jump, which is why its called might delete later, its pr. Drakes been fucking all their women and causing other issues with records being approved or not.
