@@alanrossreviews Hiya Alan! Got the speaker, and the top panel vibrates quite heavily when the volume is about 50% or higher. This was an issue I encountered on the play 2. Quite an annoying and intruding noise that is very obvious when a track doesn’t feature a lot of instrumentation. When pressing down ever so slightly on the top panel, when the speaker is sitting on my desk, the noise disappears. A replacement might be in the works!

Halo200 is better like Bang Max. Halo needs other EQ app for bass but Bang Max for trebles. His bass speaker has more power. I have native eq on phone and eq app. The Bass is then stronger. I have both speakers. Halo 200 is better, is louder and cleaner. Bang Max already has a problem when setting the EQ to max in the Tronsmart application. Halo 200 has big potential for next "tuning".

You reminded of another "bug" with the tronsmart app that I have. When I bring the sliders in the custom EQ down to just a little above the bottom it suddenly goes louder than it would be if the slider is at maximum. It might be specific to my speaker. I don't know if it happens with the others.

I've noticed with my Tronsmart Bang upgraded version, that the custom EQ is not embedded onto the speaker but will automatically switch to it once I open the app and connect to the speaker inside the app.

what firmware is your m+, the new ones have different firmware so i havent tested for any eq changes. the blast is a big step-up from the m+ but also a different type of listen.
@@alanrossreviews 73.75 sorry for the late reply, it's my work speaker I keep in my toolbox. I have an industrial job where it gets very loud. 90-100% volume is necessary to hear the speaker, I think I need to adjust EQ, bass gets messy around that volume.

@@alanrossreviews To me the biggest issue with Tronsmart will always be boosted upper mids, doesn't sound good... Though the bass mode here is pretty alright in that regard, at the cost of reduced highs.
I’m thinking I’d like something JBL extreme 3 size class. I really like my Motion+ for low volume listening. Do you think mids and highs on Mifa wildbox compare to motion+? I found stormbox blast a bit harsh. How about go+play 2 or any other recommendations in that size class. Boombox 3 is getting too big.

Over the camera, I played back the audio through my BB3 which doesn't have the best tuning but the Halo 200 does not sound good and even terrible to my ears in comparison to the Encore which doesn't have the best sound stage do yo the speaker setup. It does sound a bit more balanced than the Bang max, but the fact I own the Encore and I see these huge peaks and dips, I'm scared to buy the Bang max. The Halo 200 just sounds to artificial,thin and robotic for my ears plus the size on top of that is like a nail in the coffin. Respect, honest and detailed review 👏 keep up the good work.
yeah the halo 200 makes zero sense other than if they wanted something that LOOKED a bit bit meaty on a shelf. encore simply digs deeper than either of these other two and i think thats what people want for that type of speaker, but that battery 😭
Halo 200 needs EQ app, then is his sound better like Bang Max. The two Halo 200 are better than the JBL and the price is the same.
Tronsmart is going to come out with a speaker with great tuning one day and shock everyone. The Bang Max was a step in the right direction but they seem to have taken a step back with this one. Thank you for another great review, Alan! 👍

I will listen hard rock and heavy metal, mostly outdoor, and I wish to be with hard bass /drum/, clear vocals and bright cymbals. To have relatively autonomy /15-20 hours/ and tws. you can forget 15-20 hrs on anything with decent bass, its just not going to happen. [perhaps a pair of motion boom plsues would work?

i am thinking to buy Tribit maxsound plus but my only concern is battery life, it has 2200 mah battery and brand promises 20 hr of battery backup ,while x sound go has 4400 mah battery and brand promises 24 hrs of backup with it .i know maxsound plus is more powerfull but on paper it's battery capacity is just half as compared to x sound go.
2 Xsound plus has 4400 mah 7.4v battery and Maxsoundplus has 2200 mah 3.7v battery , in teardown videos of both batteries looks similar in size , whats the role the voltage here and please can you tell about the battery backup of Maxsoundplus on 70-75 % of volume

You know I've been considering getting a sound bar now one with a sub woofer now and wonder what you think and that. I have 2 tribit storm and 2 soundcore motion boom plus. I don't think I'm going to buy and more Bluetooth unless it's a sound bar with sub woofer. What say you Ross the boss? It's for indoor btw
Yeah I could do something like that as well. Been plugging my TV into stuff with a 3.5 analog connector on Bluetooth speakers like my w King d9 motion plus. Sometimes I'll connect motion booms if I can survive with a little latency.
But I have to keep them plugged in constantly to keep them on. I've had my w King d9 as my defecto sound bar. Which is kind of wasting its strength since it's not great at low volume.
I need to figure out the best television solution for me but I don't have a lot of space in my room

Soundbars are great have a look at sonos. However I stopped using my soundbar when I discovered my noise cancelling headphones for my tv. I use my nvidia shield 19 pro hooked up to
My tv and soundbar as well through hdmi Earc. Or use my headphones through Bluetooth. But. •a good quality Dolby atmos soundbar with 1 or more subwoofers and speakers for “surround sound effects “. definitely the way to go for movies in my opinion. .

T11 is better because bang max is a one trick pony. It does deep bass over everything else, highs are a mess

@@alanrossreviewsagree. I feel like all the videos that reviewed the motion boom plus completely overlooked the basically the same price you get a pair of motion booms.
There are obviously some advantages to the motion boom plus like the analog connector but there are also a lot of advantage to getting two speakers instead of one. Better stereo reception, more flexibility if you want to use just one at a time.

When you showed 100% on the Halo 200's soundpulse mode my ears starting to hurt. How can they tune it do horribly? Like what the hell😮💨
No idea but i mentioned a bug i found where it goes bass reduced for no apparent reason but flicking through the eq modes brings it back. Its possible i recorded it when it was bugged 🤔🤷

I dont understand why is such a simple thing being made so complicated. So in short Halo is more for singing and middle sounds. Bang max is more for party and deeper bass. JBL is double the price and its better in both tasks. For me and indoor use for karaoke and building play where the big bass is not needed Halo 200 is perfect. I have the regular 60 rms Bang and I am really impressed with quality and sound overall. All best 😊🙋♂️

Second I am not a really pro or picky user, I used Bang in 4mX4m room for 10 people and it was great, I bought Bang for 50€. Today I ordered new Halo 200 for 168€. And for the size and 2 mics I think its the great product. I live in a building and not on the countryside where I can play really loud music. I played Bang on 90% volume and for me and people there it was great. All best 🙂
Even though Tronsmart has bigger Watt, its bass is not as deep as JBL and the high sound is not clear as JBL.

The Max is basically ruined by that huge peak around 7.5kHz or so, if I read the graph correctly. Such a disappointment. And JBL Encore shows how to do a party speaker...

The jbl is made of wood on the interior, the halo 200 is just plastic. And a very big mistake on halo 200 is the bass reflex port, y cant combine plastic with a bass reflex port, for plastic y need passive radiators, that s why bang max has more bass than halo 200.
passive radiators dont really give you that much more bass, they really just reinforce the roll off point of the woofers, or at least should do. passive rads and indeed ports cannot play frequencies the woofer isnt driving.
There is no wooden enclosure in the encore its just plastic
