[Sans AUs] Nightmare turns back into his passive form... But different? [Bad Sanses Skit] [AU]

- Hi, me again! I wanted to make this video a long time ago, and now I did! If you didn't understand what happened or why Nightmare is like this, then I'm here to explain!
[CANON] Nightmare can't just go back to his "passive' form if he wants to (but I broke the canon, sorry). It's also canon that corrupted Nightmare isn't even Nightmare, he's a thing, a living negativity that uses the body of Nightmare after the apple incident. Keep that in mind.
[HEADCANON] So, this whole video takes place in the future where Nightmares gang know each others pasts already except for Nightmares. And Nightmare wants to tell them or show them, but he's afraid of his gang leaving or thinking he's weak.
[HEADCANON] What Nightmare did in the video is he tried to stop the negativity surrounding him as goop from flowing at all and let it go. Since this goop is basically Corrupted Nightmare, he started melting in pain, because he stopped the flow. All that goop melted away and became puddles, revealing what was always under it - Nightmares body. But that Nightmare that existed 500+ years ago with Dream is dead, because he lost himself in negativity and basically got replaced by Corrupted. So Corrupted woke up in Passives body and got somewhat of an identity crisis, that's why he says both "I" and "he" when referring to Passive. Why half of his face is missing? Basically when Nightmare got corrupted the negativity started flowing from his soul through his skeletal body. The pressure was too high and his skull broke. That's why Corrupted also doesn't have an eye.
[HEADCANON] The gang is so understanding because this takes place in the future, they all knew each other for years and know that it's better for them to stay together. No one except Nightmare accepted them as killers anyway, and, even if they are psychopaths', they still understand how much Nightmare did for them. The would accept him as Passive too, but Nightmare will return to his Corrupted form anyway. If he tries to nullify the pain when switching from Corrupted to Passive, then he would probably use both forms since the gang knows already.
[HEADCANON] Also Passive can feel more emotions than Nightmare! That means he doesn't feel disgust from positive ones, at least not as much, so he can express himself better and be less cold when talking to his gang. And yes, that also means he can show frustration and be embarrassed as shown in the video!
That's all, I guess! This whole video doesn't make sense! Yay!

I was searching for good reaction videos and found something better. It’s been a long time since I watched one of these, to be honest I like your AU a lot. You try to use some of the canon lore but still support your AU with theories and made it more “friendly” and not simply “evil” or mean. It’s quite calming and refreshing the fact that the bad sanses care for each other, it’s quite wholesome. I also like how you try to support your ships with certain background and tried to make nightmare not a complete “softie” when he reverted back. Usually on these you see the bad sanses attacking passive nightmare and then him trying to say he’s nightmare with no proof whatsoever, and in the end they believe him. It’s also fun to see how much confidence they have with each other, like a real family and not simple friendship or “because we work together”. Another thing that certainly makes this pleasant are the designs, I like how you tried to add little detail on each I hadn’t even noticed. I’m definitely staying on your channel to see what else you can do, your job is incredible :)

I love canon lore and personalities and try to keep my headcanons close to them because the characters don't need a whole rewrite to be interesting. And I do think that Nightmares gang can have more family-like interactions since they are not just heartless killers (look at Horror, for example, he doesn't even kill monsters!) and have more personality behind them than just "go stab and be evil" ;D
I will do more videos on my AU in the future and uncover how the Bad Sanses came to such a close relationship that took a lot of time to be complete, so I hope your stay will be pleasant!

I feel like he would be in the "i could literally care less because im exhausted, sleep deprived, running on caffeine, and being "happy" all the time." Like, he would just go back home to get ready to put the positive-negative balance back into order lol. this might just be me, idk
I'm not trying to be rude, but that's the most fanon thing I've ever seen about Dream. You do understand that that's as far from canon Dream as it gets?
Dream can't express pure negative emotions, they hurt him and his aura. He can feel sad, but overall he is a positive being. He is literally hopeful and happy all the time because that's how he was made to be. He is trying to help people all the time and keeps the multiverse at least somewhat positive even if he can't outmatch Nightmares negative aura. That is literally one of the things why he can't be friends with Ink and had a moment where him and Ink had a fight, since Ink doesn't care about what is happening in AUs and doesn't do anything to help, while Dream will try to do his best for everyone to be happy.
Dream would care. He haven't seen his brother in, what, 500 years? Even if it's still not him, at least it's his body, how he looks now and what happened to him. Dream accepted that his real brother died/disappeared after the apple incident, but if he had a chance to see him again, he wouldn't miss it.
