I can't help hear Karen Carpenter in Rumers opening lifts when she starts in a scale. Karen was one of the best at phrasing a song. Frank Sinatra also comes to mind. This is a good thing when you think of the comparisons . Most can't compare, for the sound doesn't justify the comparison. Rumer does this with such grace and ease. Amazing vocalist . I would like to hear he do more of her own songs. Great job
