@prakhar singh but there is surely the difference between rich & poor, in maharashtra state, usually police carefully see the accused person's background, financial condition, his contacts to higher authorities etc. ofcourse they cant do always in cases like recent famous Aryan khans one, but yes money makes things done in most cases related to police & laws

The bomb blasts were the most harrowing thing that happened to Bombay, but where was the police when all of this was taking place. There were pen gang wars and extortion by goons and the police did nothing.
After the blasts the 'encounter specialist' squad was created and they massacred nearly everything in sight. To evade the justice most of them killed even the witnesses or shut the others by brutal or corrupt means.
One such officer Pradeep Sharma evaded the justice system for years and was later acquitted of murder then released and rejoined the police force, then the case had to be fought again and justice was finally delivered.
The officer Sachin Vaze planted a bomb in Worli and had 3 people killed to hush the matter up. This was an extortion attempt. And he pleads that he just 'threatening' the family and should be allowed back as a police officer.
Corrupt officers aren't penalised enough in India and people justifying their acts will only lead to more harm to the society
