tvN 수목드라마 ‘마더’(연출 김철규, 극본 정서경) 측은 세븐틴 승관이 가창자로 참여한 OST Part 5 ‘어떤 사랑’ 음원을 공개했다.
‘어떤 사랑’은 어려운 선택을 해야만 했던 한 사람의 슬픈 사랑에 대해 이야기 하는 노래로 어쿠스틱한 사운드와 드라마틱한 편곡, 그리고 승관의 깊은 감성이 잘 어우러지는 곡이다.
또한, tvN ‘응답하라 1994’, ‘응답하라 1988’, ‘디어 마이 프렌즈’, ‘또 오해영’ 등 인기 드라마 OST에 참여했던 이상훈 작곡가가 작편곡을 맡았으며, 주옥 같은 작사로 깊은 인상을 남긴 하멜리가 참여해 곡의 완성도를 높였다.

It has always been his dream to join King of Masked Singer and sing an OST, and now, 3 years from debut, he achieved both. I am beyond proud of all of Boo's achievements. seungkwan is one of the best singers in the industry because he does not just have the exceptional voice, indescribable talent, and unparalleled skills but he also has this unique gift of connecting with his listener's souls
this ost as well as the video really makes you cry so much; especially seungkwan’s voice in that part where the kid gets taken. even if you don’t understand korean/the lyrics, *seungkwan’s voice will literally make you burst into tears*
honestly it’s amazing how seungkwan can express such raw emotions to this song and to think that the title of the drama is _mother_ the feels really struck home. at such a young age...to be able to do that, you’re one absurdly talented man. he had ONLY ONE DAY to practice this song because of his hectic schedule yet he executed this so brilliantly. they must’ve really wanted him, i’m so happy that he got to do his first ost for such an amazing drama that even got nominated for CISF. i’m not good with english or else i might be able to explain how he put his entire heart and soul into this masterpiece. towards the end, he’s still so humble and down to earth, his interview for tvn for this ost was so sweet.

*Boo is usually the 'hilarious and fun' guy but when he sings its hard to believe he could convey such strong emotions. This takes a huge amount of talent which Seungkwan definitely has. What I adore most about him is that he strives to keep improving but I honestly don't think he could get any better.* ❤

I started watching this drama last week. Mind you ,I had no idea Seungkwan did this. I just watched the 13 episode. The episode this song plays. And while watching the episode, I hear Seungkwan’s voice. But I’m not sure it’s him, so I look up the ost to see if it was him.
When I tell you guys I just had the hardest crying fit in a long time. I MEAN IT. I am beyond touched that Seungkwan sang for this drama. While watching this drama, I kept thinking “I bet Seungkwan has watched this too.” WE ALL KNOW HOW MUCH THIS BOY LOVES HIS MOTHER!! And that is the reason he is my bias. I’m just so touched. Not really surprised, because, I mean, this is Seungkwan, OF COURSE he’d do this. But yeah. I came to this video after discovering Seungkwan sang for this drama and crying my eyes out because of it. I love this kid. As a person who adores my mother, like all people (with good mothers) should, I’m just really touched by this.
