There are soooo many things that could've completely changed the course of the game. Legitimately there were so many moments during this game where if that thing had occured or hadn't the outcome could've been completely different. Debiru not shooting kanae, takamiya not killing ririmu or seeing the toy hammer in her inventory. There are quite a few more but the fact that these things could've been the reason they got out is crazy.
