I started doing my own nails thanks to your help. I also tried the almond shape because of you too! Both things turned out great! I was nervous using builder gel for my first set but I got brave and did it on my toes! It wasn’t difficult at all, they turned out great! I will be using the overlay method on my nails once my current set grows out. ❤

I ordered the Cre8tions nail glue from a random online nail supply store and this nail glue is the best I’ve tried so far. My go to is normally Apres extend gel but this is very much my new favorite. Thanks for the recommendation!

I can never get my cuticles as clean as yours. And I’m still working on my application of the nails. I either put too much gel or not enough when applying. This set was beautiful. Keep up the good work ❤

I can’t seem to get the nail to stay on, after I cure them they stay on and pop off after 5min. I am so jealous that you’re able to prep by simply buffing and wipe your nail with alcohol and it sticks.
I buff, wipe with acetone, dehydrate and use a ph bond- and still it doesn’t stay. 😢
Any tips?

I think you have to put nail glue on first I have the same problem with poly gel nails so I thought hmm they probably put nail glue on before they do all of that but again I'm not completely sure just an idea 💡
Hi, what Gel adhesive do you use? And when they pop off do you still have gel on your nail bed?
@@JourneyswithJai It pops clean off with some residue on my nail and the majority of it on the GelX tip.
I use the BTArt Box Gel Nail glue (highest rated from Amazon), so I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong.
@cania8494 it sounds like maybe they didn't fully cure. I use the same glue flash cure for 30 seconds, then cure 120 seconds after i put them all on.

That is awesome! ☺️🤍 I like to buff up the surface of the gel extension for better adhesion. When applying a gel to an extremely shiny and smooth surface, it can sometimes lift. I hope this helps 🤍

Whenever I realize that my tips that I’m trying if it’s like a new style. If they’re a bit on the thinner side, I typically will apply a layer or two of builder gel to create strength. 🤍
I just start doing my own nails but I don't know how to clean up the gel polish. My current nails need some cleaning up
I keep a dipping cup with alcohol on the side with a flat brush to clean up.

Really beautiful! Do they ever bend or does the top coat make them a little harder? Mine always bend for some odd reason even when using top coat.
That is a great question! I don’t have issues with bending, and the topcoat does help to add an additional layer of strength. I have dealt with bending in the past, but that was more so the nail tips I was using 😅 also to not just be constantly buying more nail tips to see what works best for you. You could always apply a layer of builder gel and that will definitely make the nails much stronger.🤍

You never mention if your top coat before chrome is a no wipe top coat. And if your final top coat is a no wipe or not ?

I used a regular top coat instead of no wipe but either works. In my more recent videos I have used no wipe and it works the same🤍

So you don’t need a base gel cured before applying the tips
No ma'am I've done gelx multiple times and I haven't needed a base gel before applying, just dehydrator and primer :)
I used to not need a base either but my nail bed adhesion changed for some reason. I had to start curing a thin layer of gel glue on top of the dehydrator and primer.

Hey I just h have one question. After you put the nails on, why do you have to buff them out, I feel like when I buff out my nails I make the application of the gel so bad. Is this a step that I can skip?
Cause I was just wondering before you buffed them out you still have a smooth surface .. why not just keep that smooth surface

Hi, I lightly buff the surface of my nails just to remove the shine ✨ it helps with gel polish adhering to the extension.
