Nice, great idea for the tuning section.👍
Ty so much for this video, wonderful setup
beautiful mount assembly.
Unsure how you come up with 15mm for D in the Plans inbetween poles, I can see 30mm for D in the plans but could you give guidance on how you get the 15mm for D. I would have to cut the tee in order to bring both poles together enough is this correct?
yeah, he was talking inches the whole time then goes to MM. Its all part of the deception. did you notice he didn't use brass screws?
I'd like to build a j-pole for the purpose of receiving only while I scan the air band. Do you think I would notice a difference between a j-pole and a dipole for receiving only?
I'm surprised that channel locks are still around
@Hydrogenpower2 .... how much would you estimate the materials to cost (not including tools) Thanks
Will you just get on with it already enough with the tools jeesh
You are aware there is a fast forward ability correct?
take this down @@jsrocker1776
sir is it grounded
A good example for beginners with no knowledge. but redundant for others. too much narrative, and way too much description of parts. ad nauseum But none the less thanks for taking the time to do it and for sharing..
You couldn't of just said thanks or better yet nothing at all?
In inches please
Please do a 27mhz Jpole❤❤
Thank you James for mentioning that. My next videos are going to be a design for an HF J-pole. Please subscribe so you will get the alert. I’m going to cover 10M 11M and 12m.
@@KE6VRK I subscribed already cause I liked the Jpole vids❤❤
13:15 "you can mount it on another pole". Are you sure about that? Please read this: www.hamradio.me/antennas/j-pole-antenna-should-i-ground-it.html
I alwast feed the long side. But I guess makes little difference
I should try that and see if there is a difference. Thanks Dean
500 bucks of tools to make a 10 buck antenna??
The tube diameter is too large for UHF.
Lose Gain!
what type of nonsense is this? you spent a significant amount of time on the tools but when it came down to needing the dimensions of the pipes you simply skipped over the most important items. what a bunch of nonsense.
