Unsure how you come up with 15mm for D in the Plans inbetween poles, I can see 30mm for D in the plans but could you give guidance on how you get the 15mm for D. I would have to cut the tee in order to bring both poles together enough is this correct?

yeah, he was talking inches the whole time then goes to MM. Its all part of the deception. did you notice he didn't use brass screws?

I'd like to build a j-pole for the purpose of receiving only while I scan the air band. Do you think I would notice a difference between a j-pole and a dipole for receiving only?

A good example for beginners with no knowledge. but redundant for others. too much narrative, and way too much description of parts. ad nauseum But none the less thanks for taking the time to do it and for sharing..

13:15 "you can mount it on another pole". Are you sure about that? Please read this: www.hamradio.me/antennas/j-pole-antenna-should-i-ground-it.html

what type of nonsense is this? you spent a significant amount of time on the tools but when it came down to needing the dimensions of the pipes you simply skipped over the most important items. what a bunch of nonsense.
