    At 2:05:12 for this question easy way to get answer is let the Q' be the charge flow into the earth and final charge on small sphere be Q-Q' THEN PUT V1 = 0 and solve it for Q' you'll get your answer direct Q/2 .😊

    Sir why we take electrostatic force and external force to be equal because they will cancel each other and the charge will be at rest at that situation and for this condition from class 11th we have a formula of small workdone = F.ds.cos(theta) it will easy to understand and derivate the formula for workdone and potential energies 38:18
