I love how they all seem to be like a different form of water. Makomo is like the rain, agile and light, with each step like a raindrop. Tomioka is like a Spring , the surface undisturbed, straightforward and returning to his base. Sabito is like a hurricane, a powerful tempest of water combined with great force. Urokodaki is like a river, precise and constant, inevitably cutting through the strongest of earth. And Tanjiro is like a stream, flexible and changing of form to suit his needs.
Update: Murata is like a water gun squirt/tap water. It’s alright, but not great in the long run. Useful under circumstances.

Sabito is one of those characters I got attached to and had a feeling that maybe he was dead. idk why but what kind of confirmed it to me was when Tanjiro sliced the boulder like he was right in front of him. Sabito wouldve been such a good friend to Tanjiro and vice versa :( (also please dont spoil anything that hasnt been in the anime please i just started watching)

I thought breathing styles are visual effects but how come makomo created explosive bubbles?
The "visual effects" thing means that nobody can see them.
Her attack doesn't "create a bunch of bubbles that then explode". Instead it "creates delayed explosions as if cause by a bunch of bubbles".
You wonder how she can do that and the answer is that total concentration hones the body to such a degree that you can do magic.
