I end up watching this movie almost every single Halloween, it’s probably my favorite movie in the entire franchise aside from the original.. but even still, I’ve def watched this one many more times than I’ve watched the original
I'm in the minority that love and defend this movie. It's a dark reflection of Rob Zombie's Part 1. It's actually my 2nd favourite Halloween movie. I could list all the reasons that this film deserves a re-appraisal, but it would mean writing an essay people would argue about it anyway. Just a few things; the white horse isn't real. Laurie sees it because evil is in the blood. At the end, Michaels female relative takes on his mantle ( Part 4). Michael takes off his mask (Part 1). Michael eats a dog ( Part 1).Michael has a psychic link to his relative (Parts 4, 5 and 6). Michael survives an ambulance crash (part 4). The dream sequence at the start is from the moment Laurie wakes up in the hospital. It isn't from the start, it's about 8 minutes of the movie. I could go on and on and on. When I first saw this I hated it, and now it's one of my favourite horror movies. I'm so glad that its found it's audience. Again. Michael says at the start that he dreams that his mum is a ghost, and she has a white horse, and even though it's many years in the future, HES STILL DREAMING!
I can't help myself, but it seems to me, that Rob Zombie tries to be the next Quentin Tarrantino. But comparing these two Directors, is like comparing a rusty Bycicle chain with a diamond necklace.
Easily the 2nd worst film in the franchise behind Resurrection. Seriously, can’t believe Rob thought it was a cool idea to have Michael Myers yell “DIE!” While I tolerate the first remake to some degree, I despise this movie A LOT
I mean...it wasn't just 30 minutes of being chased and attacked that pushed Laurie to turn into that, sheblost her mom and dad and several of her friends, finding Annie in the first movie, that poor 16byear old girls entire life was destroyed in one night

I hate Rob Zombie's Halloween II, but I like his first Halloween

I would love them to have michael myer's talk but it to me just looks like that there doing some ghost stuff from jeepers creepers 2.
