    Excellent explanation. Sir as you told, optocoupler P650 is directly connected to AC 220V, it has chances of failure. As AC can have other component like high surge voltage, noises etc etc.
    So optocoupler protection is important. How we can protect it with other component around it ?
    1. Sir my second question is, what are other component used with optocoupler , what is value of resistor , capacitors , Zennor diode ?
    2. I couldn't understand, as you told zero crossing is only used to count pulses. if its 100 , means board is working fine?
    what is there other use of zero crossing ? is there any other motor we are switching etc ?
