    The feature I love from Orbi is the armor+ protection that basically protects everything connected to it.

    The irony that your "slow" speed of 3Mbps 250 feet from your house is 2x faster than the T1 lines we used to drool over way back in the day.

    I've done this with my T-Mobile home internet modem.

    I found an easier way. Get a T-Mobile home internet, put it in your car, and you'll get those speeds anywhere in the country. I've driven between Texas and New Jersey and it has service everywhere and really fast speeds. Not to mention it's orders of magnitude cheaper even with the monthly costs.

    WiFi 6 or 6E is adequate for most as we all know. I do think the benefit of the Orbi970 series is the RANGE RANGE RANGE due to the higher power and updated antennas in the devices. I have insane WiFi coverage 200 feet away in my yard.

    5:10 it is Gigabit not GigaByte, huge difference, maybe in 10 years we have 10GB (byte), nowadays its 10Gb (bit), look it up, it states 10-Gbit and 2,5-Gbit on the website and not Byte ;-)

    Hi Chris,
    Would you conclude Orbi 970 is great for range coverage but performed exactly the same with your Orbi 850 in terms of wifi speed using your iphone at close range and wired connection speed on your computer?

    • @EverydayChris
      @EverydayChris  11 дней назад

      Similar as before due to hardware limitations on my end. Once wifi 7 comes out and if my LG tv was newer speeds would be MUCH faster with the orbi which is why there isn't a huge rush to get one unless you can all those new devices

    I was looking into this router! Need something bc I live in a condo and can never get the updates. Thanks for the video!

    5 months later with updates has the router improved in WiFi performance?

    • @EverydayChris
      @EverydayChris  15 дней назад +1

      Probably the most reliable wifi router I've had yet. No drops still holds 500-600 mbps further away. Again, better testing and speeds will occur once I get my wifi 7 device! But no issues so far
