Apple don't test their products AT ALL for damage resistance.... Just make them out of glass and send them on their way! They must make so much money from users who drop it and have to repair it. It cracked on DIRT! You can hammer a nail with the screen on a Nokia Lumia and run over it with a car and it's still fine!

The fact that there are people, who can't even afford the luxury of a simple shelter of a home, and others, who destroy expensive pieces of technology as a hoby or a 'job' quite frankly makes me feel extremely conflicted about the actual point of such videos. I mean, clearly, the new phones aren't made to be destroyed and, yes, the older ones are stronger, but is this really needed?
