    Wow it would have been really adrenaline inducing to have a clutch and make it sound like a dirt bike climbing into the clouds. thank you for saying you tried the other motors and that the little one feels like the best fit. I've always had that very same feeling with motorcycles. Started on 50cc 2-strokes, had the time of my life for several years. I couldn't get enough of those little engines and rode all over the place. Then went up to R1 1,000cc, 650cc, and back down to 110cc, but this time it had to be 4-stroke, and it's NOT as much fun. It's just a ride now. And what you're describing here, is the very same thing. In the end, the little motors are the Fun motors. the ones you want to ride All the time

    So stoked for you Jack!! I drive a wrx wagon, I use a heavy duty bike hauler strapped to the boot. That way I don’t have to disassemble my motor each time I travel. Works like a charm mate! Pm me if you need a pic to see what I mean...

    What is the difference beetween eclipse and rider?

    • @JackPimblett
      @JackPimblett  Год назад +1

      Hey buddy! The eclipse is the lightweight frame designed for those who value weight. Personally it’s my favourite as who doesn’t want a light Paramotor. The rider is the flagship does it all Paramotor whether it’s solo flying or want to mount it to a trike or do tandem.

  • @loums52
    @loums52 4 года назад

    Thanks for the video. How did you find the comfort of the lightweight harness? Is it really as light as advertised? (~38 lbs!). I have flown the Atom 80 and loved it and really thinking about this lightweight unit. Will look forward to more feedback.

    • @JackPimblett
      @JackPimblett  4 года назад

      Hey man! No problem at all. It is really that light, it is insane. I find it a pleasure to fly, no issues with comfort at all. If you need any more info, get in touch!

    Have you ever flown a maverick 80? If so how does it compare?

    • @JackPimblett
      @JackPimblett  4 года назад +1

      Hi Toby! Yes I have! For me I prefer the Fly products because I find it easier to assemble, the parajet can be quite fiddly I find. As for flying, with the eclipse you feel far more connected to the glider thanks to the ASC arms. Its the closest I've felt to a paragliding harness and this is why I had to go for it!

    • @TobyGHall
      @TobyGHall 4 года назад

      @@JackPimblett Thanks for the reply, so you didn't feel the cage was fragile? The harness looks so minimalist but I guess it's not.

    • @JackPimblett
      @JackPimblett  4 года назад

      @@TobyGHall no worries! It doesn't feel fragile at all, in fact the opposite. As for the harness, you can have the light harness as in the video or the comfort harness.

    What is the overall weight of the paramotor including prop, tank, harness meaning: ready to fly. Only add up the reserve and gasoline? Thx

      18.5kg ready to fly. Add another 2kg of fuel for at least an hours fun or more 😁

    Did your reduction drive leak through the breathe valve, too?

    • @JackPimblett

      Nope! I've just had petrol come through it sometimes when I haven't sufficiently drained it for travel.

      Yes I did, waiting for their response.
      But I guess it was just a little bit too much Oil, even though it was only the bottle that came with it. It came out of the breather valve.
