Man I feel like the pilot was pretty different from the rest of the series like it definitely evolved but it was like pure chaotic fun with good jokes. Always good for a rewatch.
Still probably my favourite. Each new season has a little less of that original energy. I don't generally enjoy the show any more.
@@gorgolyt The show was better without a continuous, overarching plotline. Some of the standalone episodes are the best when you can watch them without having to watch anything prior.
Rick was heaps better when he was a crazy smart grandpa rather than a cold hearted egotistic maniac.

I'm really curious about Tammy's backstory. How did a human get wrapped up in all this in the first place. These bugs give us a bad name
She might have had some kind of surgical or genetic modification done to her in order to appear human, or maybe she just comes from a species that looks exactly like humans?

Wasn't she summers friend before when she went to the party? So she was probably human before idk.
@@azizbanaga2844 well her mission was to find Sanches, pretty sure they knew where his family was but not where he was, I don't think the federation was that kinda of government which torture siblings in order to get information, so she might've been the sleeping agent assigned to watch the smith family in case rick returned.
I think it’s tied to operation phoenix and the central dim curve we saw in the last season. We see other threats emerge like tammy and morty. So im assuming that he did something in the other galaxies to make him hide in these ones but she found and tracked him down and morty is trying to get out. I think rick lived his life before and thats why he tried to off himself in the first season- because he knows the tragedy that will repeat forever. Also this makes the whole ricks are hermit crabs reference a bit deeper and would explain operation Phoenix

1:15 if you put the play back speed at the slowest speed you can see Jerry almost died in a few frames but because of his reaction time he survived. He deserves respect for being so quick. Also Rick was already in cover before the bugs jumped in meaning as soon as she showed her true colors Rick was prepared

It’s weird how in the first episode they have a teleporter at the galactic federation airport, Rick then changes it to be the much better version that they were trying to get from him for so long and he just leaves it there
The federation has teleportation and Rick only changed the coordinates of arrival, meanwhile what Rick has is an Interdimensional-Transporter which lets him go between entire realities, very big difference

Well I think they just want the formula to make the gun version, they might have something huge that takes up a lot of energy to teleport stuff but maybe they want something remote that can create portals with it’s own power like his does.

It doesnt work all curencies are relative to another. You would have to inflate a currency from trading pair to make the other currency in the trading pair tend to 0. And even if you did that all the other trading would still be stable.

One US dollar is always worth one US dollar, and one apple will always be worth one apple, even if nobody wants to buy apples. The only way Rick could wreak havoc on the system would be to set the price of each product/service to an astronomically high number. Then, people would arbitrage the prices, and a few people would get extremely rich, but the prices would tend back to the norm eventually.

When I first watched R&M I didn’t expect the galactic federation to be such a big thing. It was a shock to me that a gag from episode one was turned into a whole arc.
But now even though the federation is elimination, the effects of it will last all 10 seasons because of Bird Daughter and Space Beth.

So the GF wants to make Ricks portal gun. And we see that the GF has access to portal tech in E1, but its stationary and gives them the power to regulate portal traffic. There is also no evidence that the GF portals can travel dimensions, only space.

Especially since the only reason he's even close to being as bad as other Ricks is because they goaded him into being the worst version of himself by taking the only people who mattered to him. Every other Rick in the Central Finite Curve is just a basic representation of the premise of being a Rick, while C-137 Rick is the concept of the story told with actual pathos.
