I do not like to have all that volume because my face gets lost with so much hair, besides I have a small forehead. I am thinking of getting a pixie cut but I have not found yet the person that could do what I would be comfortable with

This is a really good haircut. However, with hair that thick, this style is going to get away from her quickly. Shorter layers and bangs, and cutting around the ear would give her more control over that gorgeous, thick hair. I understand not wanting to go shorter, but my money says she would have loved it.
