    You could be making movie soundtracks with these things you come up with. This would be a really good song to play for an older Vietnam movie like apocalypse now

      Luís Almeida, hey, thanks so much! It's great to know there are viewers still out there digging my stuff.👍😎

      Sure! And I found this quite inspirational. I've always wanted to be able to play one or two instruments, but I'm not persistent enough.

    • @MrDanMan60
      @MrDanMan60  7 лет назад +1

      Luís Almeida, yep, I understand. I'd be much further along myself if I, myself would be more persistent. Do what you can, when you can.

    Loved the design of your didgeridoo. More compact for use in a space-challenged home studio, and like you said, easier to aim at a mic. Really liked the rhythm you played on it, too. Never thought of that! Great video!

    I've built my didges out of PVC and used bees wax for the mouth piece. I like to use a reducer fitting so I can interchange the length of the top of the didge to get different keys with a 2" wide PVC pipe for a bell end. It gives it a deeper sound.

    • @MrDanMan60
      @MrDanMan60  6 лет назад

      certainly. I have not tried bees wax on this one yet. It will require a smaller mouth piece. And once I do that I think I will be able to circular breathe. Keep up the good work.

    I love this sound. It sounds like something straight out of the year 2032. Very futuristic sounding. I'm going to have to make me one. It's very affordable at least. Nice playing by the way.

    Where is the bell? You can make it out of the leftover piece.

    • @UpcomingJedi

      I tried to make a coiled one lika snake but it wanted to kink so i only ot one loop, a wye an 2 bells. It dont sound the same if i cover one bell. I msde them by heating the scrap piece for 5 inches , pushing the ends toward the middle forming a bulge and held it until cool. Then i cut the bulge in 2, making the bells.

    Thats a pretty sweet didgeridoo you got there. I’m trying to build my own didge but pretty much all the tutorials I found made didgeridoos that just sound naff. Any suggestions? Also if you want to learn circular breathing, go to a website called didgeridoodojo. Thats how I leaned circular breathing and I still am learning more techniques.
