y’all not realizing the 80s pop is Hip To Be Square by Huey Lewis and The News which played in that scene in the movie, American Psycho. that’s why it’s called Hip To Be Scared.
Do you like Ice Nine Kills? Their early work was a little bit too scene for me. But when The Silver Scream came out I think they really came into their own. Commercially and artistically the whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really makes it a cut above the rest!

Hey man I commented this on your IT is the End video but the last notes that play as Spencer is seeing his new therapist are a slowed down version of the chorus for Hip to be Scared, like when the title card for The Silver Scream comes up they play a slowed down chorus of American Nightmare
You should try to broaden your horizons. Listening to nothing but heavy stuff doesn't make you "cool".. It's ok to listen to the softer side of things, especially when they're as creative and catchy as INK puts out.

Not a huge fan of the song cuz is a lil bit soft but is stuck in my head n loved Spencers little dance XD. The video was really cool.
