Hit or miss reliability with these high end products, some have luck others like myself have bought a fair bit of ET, AI and Neptune equipment to have it fail prematurely, service department aka the warranty department was looking a bit crowded for having reliable long lasting products.
After replacing many MP10 wetsides, the last one was broken straight out of the box. A Vectra return pump only lasted 7 months. I decided to get rid of all my Ecotech gear which included 2 MP10’s, Vectra, XR15 and battery back up. The Mobius app was pretty useless with gear always losing connection. Ecotech has been the most expensive reef keeping mistake I have ever made. On 1st April 2024 I bought an AI Blade Grow and a AI Nero 3. The white channel and one of the blues were not working and the unit has been replaced. The replacement had a seal hanging out which i had to force into place. The Nero 3 sounds like the Indy500 and is unusable. I am still waiting for a replacement Nero 3 after 36 days since my order was placed. Quality control is non existent with this company. Premium Prices for low quality products. Absolute garbage.
Fitting... all of the customer service desks are empty (I know... but it is fitting...) All of the workers are Mexican... and Jay looks drunk, as usual.
Shoutout to all the ladies working on the production line. I was surprised to see mostly females. Thank you ladies for building all of us reefers, great gear to keep our animals alive!
Awesome vid dude. I’m totally fine paying the extra 15-20% for superior technical quality like this made in the US versus outsourcing to Asia. It is why they are the best in the business. We’ve all bought the cheaper stuff only to learn we would have saved more in the long run if we just started with the best.

I have wasted a lot of money on Ecotech and AI products. The latest AI Nero I bought 36 days ago has been returned as its another faulty product. I am out of pocket with no replacement after buying this crap.
@@kevinw7044 I have a 2 Nero pumps and several Ecotech and AI led fixtures and they all work great. Every manufacturer has product that goes bad. The better ones just have less. I guess you got unlucky. Work directly with Ecotech to replace the product if it’s warranty covered and even if it is not. They are in the US and not China or India so you should get better service. Good luck.
