Love tank dresses. I don't wear them by themselves (upper arms!!) but they look so cool with jean jackets, cardigans, or just an unbuttoned shirt over the top. Also, they are so lengthening! (5'3' here).
Definitely keep the blue & white stripe dress....to be honest if I were to see that dress on the rack I'd pass....however seeing it on my first response was wow that really looks good. Somehow the variation of the stripe width brings in your waist line, too cute on you.
Hi Oralia, what an amazing haul, Walmart is going to hurt my spending allowance this Spring/Summer, OMG🙄!!! They definitely made the right decision adding Brandon Maxwell as Creative Director for their Scoop and Free Assembly Fashion Brands, he has elevated those brands a few notches... Each time I go on the Walmart site my allowance disappears 😁! I will be picking up the espadrilles, and 3 of the dresses (pink polo dress, the hot pink satin, & the gorgeous slip dress in orange pepper). I would have loved the knit sweater with orange trim as well, but I recently purchased a beautiful yellow and navy bag, hummmmm 2nd thought that sweater might just be added as well 🤭. I enjoy your videos. I am not a plus size but your advice will work for any of us who are less than tight and fit. I think you look best in the small prints, stripes , darker colors and pieces that are tailored. In one video you wore a denim sundress that looked amazing, I think it is the weight of the fabric, top stitching and the tailoring that makes the denim dress so flattering. If I find something that looks that good I make a pattern and have other dresses made in a different, but the similar weight fabric. If something looks and fits that good better to spend the money having another dress made rather than buying numerous less expensive dresses. It looked amazing on you with the accessories.

I really like that white and navy striped sweater dress on you! I think if you wear some nylons or tights it might make you feel better about your legs but it was really really cute! I really appreciate how you model the clothes for us even if you yourself don’t feel the best about certain areas. It helps so much to see this because looking at the photo on the website I’d not think that dress would work for me since their models are so small and thin and tall. But seeing it in real life and how it moves and hangs can definetly make me think twice!
About the contrasting topstitching on the cargo pants.... I've been known to go over obnoxious topstitching with a dark blue sharpie in order to tone it down.

Before I talk about Walmart, I will complement you on your videos. I enjoy them very very much and appreciate all your suggestions. Now getting to Walmart: I absolutely loathe that I have seen things on your videos from Walmart that I can’t get in my local store. a friend of mine told me that Walmart is horrible about having things online that you cannot buy in their actual store locations. I don’t like that at all. I know people will tell me that Amazon doesn’t even have any brick and mortar stores and I’m willing to order from Amazon. That’s true, But if Walmart has something I want to look at, I want to be able to touch it in their store location.
They have a regional supply chain and that can make things difficult. If it makes you feel any better, my Walmart doesn't have any of what I bring in, it's all online; I don't even bother to shop in store. At the end of the day, I'm ok with it because they don't hassle me about returns in store. 😉

What’s interesting, I think is the misconception that horizontal stripes make you look wider. The opposite is actually true. Vertical stripes may make you look taller but on a curvy body (of any size) they emphasize the width in an “unflattering” way. Look how often you are drawn to horizontal stripes. Your instincts are correct. Google “horizontal stripes myth” and you can see the science behind it. I really like the quality of the Scoop and Free Assembly lines. I picked up 2 blazers, a navy floral dress and a few other pieces for my birthday a couple of days ago. They aren’t Banana Republic or Universal Standard quality of course,,, I do find that I need to size up 1 with free assembly and size down one in Scoop. Ending with a compliment. I told you a while back, I was losing weight. I’m no longer plus size. I’m 5’7” and lean towards quirkier clothing combos. But!! I have bought more clothing from your suggestions than any other RUclipsr. I will continue to be a constant watcher and be inspired by your selections. 🌷🌷🌷
