Milla really fits the role for Alice, she has a war expression, and it suits her, her voice is so strong. And her face when she's in fighting situation, and her body too. Don't care about what the people say, i love these movies... i saw the first one in theater at 5-6 old maybe ? (Haha i was lucky they didn't see me) i remember everything... i was shocked by the end of the first one "i was like "how alice will survive? ! The entire city is infected !" And then i saw every chapter, at the theater, and for the final chapter i smiled... i followed this story for 14-15 years... that's my childhood and more... I grew up with Alice (I think the 3rd one is my favorite, and the end of the first one is my fav scene). I’m not a child anymore but a grown women, and Alice will always have a special place in my heart, same as Buffy.. they showed me you can look fragile, weak but definitely make extraordinary things. No mater what happens you have to keep fighting, keep going, keep working and achieve your goals and your dreams. Fun fact: at first they wanted Sarah michelle gellar to play Alice but she couldn't... Buffy & Alice lol so cool.
I will say Resident Evil: Apocalypse is my absolute favorite, like you I got to see quite a few of these in theaters, I remember seeing the poster for Resident Evil: Apocalypse. I begged to go see it the same day and thankfully I was able to. Though if we're being honest, having given it some thought, my favorite scene would be when Claire Redfield goes toe-to-toe with the Executioner.

Alice proves you don’t have to be a guy to be a badass in a zombie film. Also I was so glad female characters like Alice are in films because it shows women they can be whoever the hell they want to be.
I wouldn't get too hung up on just that one aspect, sure, Alice was a strong and capable woman. But more than that she was a human being who chose in a time of crisis to try and help others, rather than solely looking out for her own interest which would have almost guaranteed her survival regardless of the outcome, I think the part of her character that truly is the hardest hitting, is when she finds out that she is a clone. Every day since the Mansion incident spent trying to remember who she was before, only to find out in the end that before the Mansion she simply didn't exist.

This is amazing, I have always loved Alice and her story and have had trouble telling people why I liked the movies because her story is so long but this, this just made it 100% easier- thank you for doing one of my childhood heros justice
I honestly wanted to take the time to sit here and thank you for this video. It's less so the fact that you made a tribute to show how badass Alice could be or how badass she is, but really you opened up my eyes to a brand new character that I never really saw before. She gives up on humanity, after the she gets betrayed at the "last stand" during the white house battle, and when she finally reaches her final straw, there's one last glimmer of hope... Then, she finds out her entire life has been a lie, she's been nothing more but a clone. After she's finally able to complete what her original counter part failed to do, she's gifted with a surprising lens that allows her to have the memories that she was never able to have, finally concluding her story. Thank you so much for making this emotional video. I wasn't expecting this... at all.

The first resident evil came out in 2002, I was born the same year, and I didn’t really have memories of watching the movies until about 2006 when I had also lost hope about them making another one, then the third one came out and I was so happy. I would watch them all over and over until my eyes couldn’t take it anymore. I vividly remember every moment watching every movie after the 2nd one for the first time. It took them forever to release the final movie and i was 14 when they ended and I was heartbroken. This sounds so nerdy but this series was a part of me and watching them now as a 15 year old I understand some of the trauma and the hurt and the long sequences of times that Alice feels alone. This was more than a nerdy zombie horror film with a badass protagonist. This was a part of my life. I know it’s already been over a year since the final chapter came out but this was a perfect close to the era, not only to the movie series but this part of my life, this was a beautiful video. The perfect ending, thank you 💗

And then (no spoilers) you go beyond just some slapped together 'fan film' and you quite literally tell her entire story WITHOUT giving away anything about the plot of any specific episode and creating a desire to view the series in its entirety. And for those of us who've viewed each episode you lay down an "eagle-eye-candy" synopsis of the overall story arc that's easy to overlook viewing the episodes over a typical release time period. This is sheer pro work.
A great summary of sis movies and Alice story. This video tells how great Resident Evil movies are but without comparing it to video games. This makes me want to replay the movies again.
This franchise spiraled way out of hand and became a perfect storm of plotholes...... but I'm proud to have been there in theatres when it started and ended. This was a great tribute to Alice. Thanks for the memories........ and nightmares.

The first resident evil came out in 2002, I was born the same year, and I didn’t really have memories of watching the movies until about 2006 when I had also lost hope about them making another one, then the third one came out and I was so happy. I would watch them all over and over until my eyes couldn’t take it anymore. I vividly remember every moment watching every movie after the 2nd one for the first time. It took them forever to release the final movie and i was 14 when they ended and I was heartbroken. This sounds so nerdy but this series was a part of me and watching them now as a 15 year old I understand some of the trauma and the hurt and the long sequences of times that Alice feels alone. This was more than a nerdy zombie horror film with a badass protagonist. This was a part of my life. I know it’s already been over a year since the final chapter came out but this was a perfect close to the era, not only to the movie series but this part of my life, this was a beautiful video. The perfect ending, thank you 💗

And then (no spoilers) you go beyond just some slapped together 'fan film' and you quite literally tell her entire story WITHOUT giving away anything about the plot of any specific episode and creating a desire to view the series in its entirety. And for those of us who've viewed each episode you lay down an "eagle-eye-candy" synopsis of the overall story arc that's easy to overlook viewing the episodes over a typical release time period. This is sheer pro work.
