the only thing i dislike about DotTA is that you mix up Tiberium with ra1 minerals, which is an absolute eyesore. ra1 minerals had their own right to exist only in ra1 only because game economy needed to run on something... (whereas something else would do better for a 40-50s centered game, even generals mechanic economy, but thats digression). ra1 buildings and units dont look bad compared to tiberian dawn ones, but ra1 minerals do, it was trully an eyesoring decision. :/

ra1 and td units mix well, although, there could be an emphasis on that light and medium tank from td is different than light and medium tank from ra1. after all, ra1 ones were supposed to be shermans nad pattons, while td are supposed to represent bradleys and abrams tanks. Mammoths being so iconic, they could stay the same, since i bet they are simply a modernised versions.

Lets also take into account, that ra1 countries are in a different camps in dt. Russia, Germany, USA, Korea, are now part of GDI, so they should be placed with td GDI camp in game and just have their flavors (like Russia being only ones to produce mammoths outside of single player campaign), while ra1 tech should be placed with smaller countries that couldn't modernise as fast as big countries and should be more into Nod camp. like Ukraine, for example. Etc Etc. After all, you titled the game Dawn of Tiberium Age, and not, lets mix everything together kamasutra style. Title implies breaking point from 80s, to 90s, when cold war ended and Tiberium Meteor (will or just did) land.
