I have do the same in my dirtbike yesterday. You save me 40 euros. Thanks!!! My problem was in cold engine... the clutch starting like sick. Now it works great. Thanks again!!!!
I'm gonna give this a shot with some sand paper tonight and hopefully it helps, my clutch plates stick like crazy and it is NOT the clutch basket like many others have mentioned. Do you think that wire brush head works better than sanding? I don't want to take much material off I just want too rough up the surface so they stop sticking together so much. last time I took the clutch pack out allot of the plates were VERY hard to separate from each other, I can't even push the bike around with the clutch pulled in and the bike in gear. Rear just locks up from sticky ass plates. At least that's what I hope is the cause, have no Idea what else would cause it. Seems most people have issues with slipping plates not plates that are too sticky.

I have slipping clutch, can you tell me how did you get sticky clutch?
How well did it work after?
Very well
My gears started to change really ruthly culd that be a problem but it changes ruthly when bike is running
Wouldn't the WD40 have a negative effect. I would just clean them with thiners, wipe off, lightly coat of engine oil, and then install
That's 100% what I was thinking
