Having been to a gig on this tour, I was disappointed at the extent to which they use so many backing tracks. He’s got a decent band, but should’ve hired musicians who can sing the harmonies. All the harmonies and choruses are 100% on backing tracks, VV was great and the setlist was killer - but this made me feel like it was a karaoke. He could invest a bit more in one keyboard player and make all musicians sing - it can be done, loads of examples of bands who do it. It sounds a million times more organic.
What you talking about? I can clearly hear his drummer and his lead guitarist and bassist that pops into the screen. So he has a bit of synth in the background and that makes it a pre recorded track? I was at one of these gigs and I can vouch it sounded exactly like the track/video
VV saved my life when I was younger with "The Heartless". He saved it again as an adult with this solo album.
VV only seems to get better! Unbelievable songwriting! May he live forever.

I was in his Paris concert last March and I can reassure you that, he sounds amazing live as well as in the record! Rock on, Ville!
