  • Interested in using Foundry VTT to run your D&D games? Me too.
Join me on this journey of discovery, where will create a new adventure in Foundry, explore the tools and settings, and look at ways in which various Mods can bring it to life.
Warning - I am a novice, so am likely to make mistakes, and do some things "the hard way". But that's part of the fun.
We're ready! But are our players? A last look at connecting our players to our game, and their settings.

Hi ClayGolem. "...Journal Items..." [~23:25] an option would be to give a Journal to your Players which they could use as a notepad. There is always something to keep track of like about NPC´s encountered, looted artifacts eg. the bluegreen Potion with the silver wolfhead stopper and where the guard puts the bronze key to the guarded cellar... you get picture.

Even in VTTs, my players all keep hand-written notes. You're absolutely correct that I can (and should?) give them a digi-journal too. I'll incorporate that, so others know it can be done, and how to do it. Thanks again for you input.

@@clay_golem I learned a lot! Especially by seeing someone doing and (sometimes) making mistakes.
I was talking to my friend yesterday. He was looking and the Phandelver stuff and we realized that probably would have been an easier and more straightforward way to learn Foundry instead of doing it all by ourselves. But I still think this is the best way to do it for me. Foundry actually stimulates my creativity in many ways!
