I don't torture myself over predictions, and I don't worry about getting it wrong, I got Beterbiev, both great at what they do, but I think hurtful punches can and often do prevent skilled guy's from doing what they can and normally do, and no one Bivol has faced so far hurts like Beterbiev, sure I might be wrong on the night but I want to see this unfold.

In his latest fight Bivol respected Zinad's power more than I expected and what I noticed is Bivol rarely takes initiative. He sits back, jabs, and only commits when his opponent presses. I just can't see him keeping Beterbiev off for 12 rounds. If his power was a bit more up there I could see him pulling it off, but as it stands I don't believe Beterbiev will acknowledge Bivol as a threat for too long. The action will start early.
Bivol respected Zinad's power? Bivol had absolutely no respect for Zinad lol. That was his most sloppy fight.
@@aachoocrony5754 You gotta watch the entirety of the fight. Yes it got sloppy after Zinad started headbutting and provoking Bivol but that's because both guys started being more offensive.
@@Steddie909 I know this theory is out there but I think the real reason Bivol fought that way against Zinad was to hide how he prepared for Beterbiev. He was fighting how he used to when he first became pro. It could be he changed his style to preserve his hands.
More like Biv respected Zinad’s fast jab. Fans underestimate the disruptions caused by a jab that can actually land. Effective jabbing breaks rhythms

stop making excuses already beterbiev is 100% he knocked out callum smith faster and had better performace than most of his fights he had in past.he looked better than ever in that fight 8 month prior to this fight and he is fit like he said.both are 100%fit we will see a good fight.if bivol win give bivol his flower if beterbiev win gives beterbiev his flowers that is it.

I've had Beterbiev since this fight was made i still do. Unless Beterbiev is significantly effected by the injury/surgery i dont think there is a man at 175lb that can beat him. He's highly underrated boxer and though Bivol has the edge in pure skill, power is the great equaliser. We've only seen Bivol hurt once by Smith Jnr right on the bell and in the proceeding 11th round his feet slowed quite a bit even after the rest in the corner. If that happens against Beterbiev (which it almost certainly will), its game over. Imo only time and possibly a jump to fighting at Cruiserweight can beat Beterbiev and only Beterbiev can beat Bivol.
Bet recovers faster from being hurt than Biv. Keep in mind Biv’s trainer instructed him to take it easy in round 11. After the 10th he told Biv what the f play with him. If Bet hurts Biv, Biv must not allow him to follow up and gain any momentum. Bet is not a one shotter. He catches them with the beginning of the end when they react angry and trade thinking that’s what will keep him off. Biv would be best off comboing in spurts to keep resetting Bet

I like your analysis but I have to disagree with the outcome purely because of the fact that beterbiev will be fighting in this larger ring I believe it’s likely to be 22 feet, against the most mobile and technically brilliant boxer and the sport today..
Beterbiev has never gone 12 rounds and the last time we got anywhere near that distance was years ago.
I suspect Bivol may well do a combination of what he did to Smith and Ramirez, in that Smith ended up chasing him which requires a lot of energy especially when you’re 40, and then picking his spots the way he did with Ramirez.
He has taken rests particularly against Yarde, and he simply cannot work at the rate that Bivol does.
It will be an interesting fight, but I see this potentially as a masterclass for Bivol.
It is boxing, so literally anything can happen, and there are no such thing as a forgone conclusion .
I can see it be another master class by Bivol. Beterbiev might catch him here and there but will be beaten back for every inch he gains. Just like every other fight, Bivol will put gloves in Beterbiev's mouth until he gets the respect he deserves.
Beterbiev resume is far better then Bivols, this is Bivols first time fighting another champion at his weight class which he’s campaigned at his entire career, even his WBA belt was given to him, that doesn’t mean Bivol is good he is, but his resume is lacking, and beating a small fatigued Canelo does nothing for me.
Is a 'torn miniscus' really a very serious injury? I don't think this is even an issue and AB will be at his best. I am leaning to AB too. He's too strong and has had more experience. Too much is being read into BD's win of Canelo.

Bivol doesn’t have any head movement, and sometimes he keeps his hands up and as seen in the Canelo fight, he was hit on the arm, body, and chin. Beterbiev will drive Bivol to the ropes a few times, and measures and hit Bivol in the body, and lands a left hook while Bivol is covering up. Beterbiev by 6th-9th round knockout. If Bivol can fight like Ali he would win, but his in and out style is his downfall. My mind says Beterbiev, and my heart also says Beterbiev.

Only unskilled eyes see Bivol has no head movement. You don't get to be number 1 in plus minus without head movement.
@rustygear447 Biv head movement are subtle slips & counters or pulls & counters. He does not have the flashy duck and rolls commonly seen in the elite American defenders like Floyd and Pernell. Biv loves his Eastern Long Guard

Bivol wins, although Beterbiev is also a world class boxer with a great boxing brain.
I’m sticking with my prediction since Bivol beat Canelo, it’s a Beterbiev stoppage inside5/6 rounds, I just can’t see Beterbiev respecting Bivols power after 2 rounds ;-)
Imagine this fight ends a draw, with AB' pros holding up as DB' strengths also hold up.
Then father time gets to AB' in the rematch, giving Bivol the win that most favouring Bivol are expecting.
If it’s close enough to be a draw, I see the judges ruling it for Bivol. He’s 6 years younger and has 6 to 8 fights left. Bet has max 4 fights left in the tank. Plus the win over Alvarez makes him the more famous of the two

Styles makes fights. There are so many variables in this matchup that it can make your head spin. In simplistic terms, Beterbiev must knock out Bivol to win. Bivol's lifetime boxing style has been to produce huge high punch counts over his opponents. If this goes 12 rounds Beterbiev loses on points. Therefore Beterbiev must knock out Bivol to win. Can Beterbiev do it? Obviously yes. Beterbiev can knock you out with either hand and in any round. But, Beterbiev never goes 12 rounds. Another interesting angle that no one is asking is who are the judges in this fight? Its a big deal. Some judges count power punches over regular punches and some don't. Does Beterbiev's age, and surgically repaired knee handle 12 rounds of fast pace boxing? Remember that although Beterbiev has more experience in the amateurs than Bivol. This point is a pro and a con. Hundreds of boxing matches can take a toll on the body. Can Bivol's excellent defensive footwork work for 12 rounds? Tantalizing questions that only the actual fight can answer. Bivol needs to test that surgically repaired knee and make Beterbiev dart around the ring. One question not being asked is how does Beterbiev fight in the late rounds? It is assumed that he has a great gas tank. No one really knows the answer to this. Beterbiev is 39 years of age. The younger Bivol designs his entire career and game plan around making it to the very end and winning with a very high punch count. Bivol is a very disciplined boxer. He will not slug it out unless he has needs to get out of a corner trap. Does Beterbiev have a better gas tank than Bivol? On the surface, no he does not. Nevertheless, Beterbiev can equalize the age issue by wearing Bivol down with constant pounding. Can Bivol dance for 12 rounds? That is the question. This is what Bivol does. Power is not everything. Just ask George Foreman about this point regarding his Ali matchup. My pick is Bivol by very close split decision. In conclusion, I would not be upset about being wrong. I actually like Beterbiev too. This is one of those extremely rare fights were the thrill is not seeing your pick win, but to actually get to witness witness such a very rare spectacle in which both boxers are pound for pound the best of the best. This is a true feast for the eyes and minds of real boxing aficionado's and may go down as the greatest fight of this young century...

Nah Biv’s quick footwork, feints, and setting everything up with a jab will see him through. Bet’s best counters happen when guys trade with him. He regularly gets reset by combos from guys who aren’t as fast as Biv

Bet’s run from Smith to Smith is his most impressive string of victories. This guy’s career prime started late at 34 when he ko’d the Serbian and Gvozdyk. If his knee is healthy, AT WORST he’d be pass prime vs Biv
