I have a TD3 and I love it. I need more 303s. I want this one, the Volca Bass, and the Roland t8. Doesn't matter how "accurate" they sound. It's about the sequencer and the resonance.
I don't have an issue until it comes to it is limited on sound. Now this is my first visit here so I don't have any idea what else you have. I am real big on FX especially ones that change the pitch (octave) and creative sequencers let alone anything iPad related.with just a resonenancecontrol and n ADSR in my set up has unlimited abilities. I look forward to seeing more of you! I already had this one and like I said I'm big on other things, when I first got this I ran it thru my Behringer MS1 and the Behringer 2600, I've got Moog,Motif, and Kronos soon to have the Moog flagshipat least this weeks! Lol, it sounds especially well with Behringers however I expand the 2600 ocisilators to 5 and added this in several ways, thru the Amp on the MS1 and continued in midi to the 2600 and Wow! Ironically I have plenty of impressive drum machines, honestly the POs steal the show! I just got mini-tonic to make my own settings on the Tonic, keep in mind ,I cheat with the 33 the sub and the speak, I accidently order Two Arcades and a robot I have all of the POs and 1010 tangerine and black box to sample on. This Donner is a fantastic controllable osolater, paired up with the sub is an extremely fat bottom . Ty for the video? And I highly recommend everyone get on! Peace.
Hi Josh. Thanks for the disclosure. Make sure you mark the video as a paid promotion per RUclips rules for free items being shown or reviewed. That will also help prevent competing ads from showing.
I just got mine. I thought there would be more to it. There's no USB power or internal battery so it's not portable at all. I did not peel off the protection film and think it's going back today. This is a quality piece though and feels good for a great price but it's not for me. I'm thinking Roland might be the way to go for what I really expect.
It’s an interesting entry in the bass synth world. There are plenty of 303 clones, and I think one thing that stands out with this one is the sequencer. Since some people (definitely not all) are turned off by the traditional TB-303 sequencing method, I think the variety of sequencers can make these types of instruments appealing. Thanks for sharing this! I hadn’t heard of this one before.
Glad you liked it! And it really is interesting, I'm curious as to why 303 clones are so popular... I wonder if it's because it's a relatively straightforward synth (limited sound design, simple sequencer)? I've never used an original 303 though, and I read something that said the B1 has a more intuitive sequencer.
Really love this synth. I honestly think it has much more going for it than the og 303. Just ordered one from Amazon UK. Only £89.99 Absolutely amazing for something of this quality. Its really good to see affordable synths that many more people can afford ✌️ I hear the latest update adds a 256 step sequencer. Love from the UK
1) so exciting you got a Dinner B1! Thanks for the analysis!
2) nice shirt!
3) love the new background. Now you just need some succulents.
The succulents make the synths sound warmer.
Ah yes I love the dinner B1
Donner vs Volca Bass for deep bass, which one do you all prefer?

Yeah, I think that "accuracy" is less important than the experience of using it... and I do dig the resonance! It's certainly my chirpiest synth.
The 3 oscillators on the Volca Bass really sold me.
@@itoaraziofficial5048 same, a 303 with 3 configurable oscillators is a no brainer
Can this B1 follow time clock via midi from a drum machine master ?
Just saved this watch later but wanted to pop in to say that I’m very digging your shirt and the backdrop!
Thank you! The studio's finally organized enough to be an appealing background. 😁
New video by josh? NICE!
Thank you... work has been kicking my butt so I'm happy I could get something together before a full two weeks went by. 😅
yes very cool video, nice work !

Thank you for telling me. I'm still a bit unsure with all the rules and forget things often. I appreciate the advice.

Fair, sometimes something isn't what you need. Thnx for noting the quality, thinking of getting one, don't need portability myself.

How far are the best video on this product Great job really!
Never heard of this before...might have to check it out🤔
It's a neat synth. Very limited, but fun. And it seems like the company's first synthesizer, which is cool.
@@JoshIsMakingMusic yeah, that's indeed very cool!
Does the “hold” button allow you to hold a note / chord (like a drone) without arpeggiating?
just ordered one off amazon
thanks
