Dan runs is a top guy. Glad you liked it. I use apple movie so no special software, so it’s not as professional as a lot of channels, but I hope it gives feel for the run. I have also subscribed to your channel . Cheers
When cramp hits, it’s a different game. More about nursing it to the end. Brighton is tough, especially around the power station. Plus your race was measured wrong, so you got bonus extra miles
Great vlog once again, such a stunning race, I look back on it and thing why didn't I look up more... then watching this and seeing you take a few tumbles I think I choose wisely lol.
Yes Paul! Well done mate! The weather was tough that day. You had a solid attitude about getting it done though. Its not about the time it's about crossing the line. We'll done mate you are a hero. 😎🤘🏻
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning exactly mate. You can't dissapoints Mr P. That would have been a disaster if there was a tree down. 100% DNF 😂 I think I am as ready as I can be mate. 🤞🏻
Nice to watch Saturday back without the pain involved 😂 appreciate the footage...watched the last one prior running this year.
Despite the cramps, still one of my favourite races
Subscribed because Dan Runs mentioned your channel. This is a quality channel!!

@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning thank you Paul. I use Movavi at the moment.
@@IRunThings - cool. I will have a look at that
Well done Paul …. Looks a great event, and toughing it out with the cramp - great determination 👍
I tried to focus on a positive. If it’s a tough run, then it must be good training
I was tracking you on the day. The way you knock out these ultra runs is superb. Congrats to you for powering through despite some adversity
You know what it is like. You hit a wall in some races, but we still carry on. Hope your super 9 month ultra preparation is going well
Great run Paul. You were right regarding the Fox, I took part Saturday it was a great route, a real mix of scenery and terrain. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Glad you enjoyed it. It’s a special race
Another ultra! There's no stopping you. Many a cramp has tried and failed. 👍🏻🏃♂️
Thankfully don’t get cramp much. But when it cramps up solid, you just have to wait and walk a bit. But at least it was warm
Great grit and determination Paul well done, especially with two falls and the legs cramping.
I switched to survival mode and somehow got round. One of those races where the wheels fall off, we fix ourselves and push on again
Well done Paul for battling through. Tough in the heat! I had a nightmare with cramp last weekend at Brighton marathon, so feel your pain 😃

There were so many tree stumps to fall over
Hay .a mate dnf on this race .said the heat was tough..great vlog.well done
It was forecast to be cloudy. But better than torrential rain I suppose
Well done. Looked like a lovely route but a tough one.
It’s a lovely route and superb Marshall’s
Nice work Paul… Dan pointed me in your direction 👍
Dan is a good man - not quite as good as his videos though
Oh nearly forgot. Love your channel and reviews. keep up the great work
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning thanks !
Showed true grit and determination on the one Paul. Was a really toughy.
Not sure why my legs were cramping sleepy much. These things are sent to test us I suppose

What would mr Pickford say if we didn’t push on. Good job there weren’t any trees down to block the path. You ready for London?

@@BenNotley I heard mr P is trying to re route the London to swim across the Thames, instead of busing bridges
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning now that sounds like a challenge which I would accept 😂
Amazing!. Paul which water west are u using? I need to get a new one but so many to pick.
I have Salomon 12l vest. Couple of years old and a bit worn now. Very comfy
Well done buddy, looks like a great race. Are you aiming to do the grand slam for Centurion this year?
My grand slam should have been last year but Wendover cancelled. So finish it finally after Wendover in November
@@PaulCoatesTrailRunning excellent, good luck with Wendover in November 👍
@@Gez-C - Wendover looks extra brutal. Going to need it
Great vid. I may have to unsubscribe thou as I'm starting to want to enter more and more races I've never heard of, very costly :D Nice one.
It’s that trail running bug. I know I am never going to win, but try as hard as I can. And even after horrendous races, we still book on more
