Thank you for this great video! My partner and I have been really on the fence about painting the tile of our new (old!) house because we've been concerned about how well they'll hold up/clean up. We're convinced! What paint kit did you use?
have you dealt with touch ups yet? just scratched my 3 day old freshly painted tile floors. thought you might have some tips before I start repainting the scratched part.
I have a touch up I need to do in the kitchen because of some contractor tape but I haven't tackled it yet. When I do, I'll definitely be documenting! So bummed that yours scratched after just 3 days!!
I would love to do this but I have 1,600 ft² of tile. Plus I put carpet over a lot of it because I slipped three times and injured my back and neck. I'd have to be able to make the tile less slippery if I was going to paint it.

I cutout the sides of a cereal box and taped them down - haha real fancy, I know.

It's been great in our old house too! Rustoleum Home floor paint! Comes with paint and top coat... I did 2 coats of top matte paint.

PS. I did 2 layers of the top coat... if you just did 1, maybe add another to the whole floor whenever you do the touchup

That's A LOT of tile... and slipping is no good! I used the matte top coat (instead of the gloss) coat and don't find it slippery at all.
@@KatherineForbes thank you for that information I might have to try it I was going to start with the entryways of my house to see how it wears.
