The problem is that JIT is dynamic code and can therefore not be signed (the gravity exists: That's just the way it is). Code signing is important for security reasons, as it would otherwise allow for an app, to modify itself afterwards and access system components it shouldn't.
I’ve tested it and different title gets barely any clicks and if I tell people the main message right away they click away and it hurts the video metrics which than RUclips punishes my video and people don’t find what they are truly looking for.

The fact that it’s unstable on iOS 17 makes me think that adding a virtual machine is just going to complicate things even further. To me the reality that you have to have it wired break the purpose so I’m just waiting for that to be fixed first. I don’t mind to enable every time the app leaves memory, but having to plug into a computer to do it defeats the point.
technically if you can make AltStore communicate correctly via the virtual machine. I've heard it is messy and if things are messy natively I can't imagine virtually. If you make it happen please share with us

They have a thing in shortcuts that default locks down so you can’t import third peoples shortcuts until you disable it with it warning about the risk. So why can’t they do it with that if they claim about the security risk and for the side loading as well. But it comes down to money they would loose a percentage and the developers account as well because that brings in money as well.
I’m torn as to the ability to have other app stores cause emulators were really the main thing I wanted and we now have that in the USA. I personally don’t want multiple app stores due to it possibly becoming fragmented as to certain apps being only available in a different App Store.

Unless they modify the rule that apple can’t charge per app and has hands off of side loading except a warning but easy to do if you are ok with doing so and a way to block it if the user wants to. But sadly apple will fight until the bitter end until you close all the loopholes.

its still an issue man installing ipados 17 was a mistake and to think that apple skirted EU regulations on ipad cause techinically ipados isnt fucking ios, like sheeeesh the pettiness apple displays. Yes, exactly. As soon as they release an update or a change that makes it work you bet I’m going to make a video that same day. Apparently Apple doesn’t allow it because it allows for malicious code to be enabled or run and have access to important resources, but I bet they could make it work. Similar to how they allow specific apps on the iPad Pro to take advantage of the 16 GB of ram by giving special permission to those specific apps

You can get JIT working on mac without the cable connected using Xcode but you will need to stay on the same Network.

That’s my issue with the current implementation that even though you have a Mac sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t.

That’s the issue with Enable JIT it is not working most of the time even on MacOS which is supposed to be officially supported
