Salute Mekel, hopefully you are feeling better. I'm looking forward to buying the Rog Ally or steam deck OLED in the future, since I don't want to get a ps5.
nice video, I only don't agree on dpad as it skips inputs (down usually) on double quarter circles (sf6 supers are more strict), but on KOF and Strive i had no issues.
I got my Asus Ally late November and had to return the following week due Micro SD fried. Luckily, Best Buy gave another w/o any issues. The new unit does not appear to have overheating issues. I'm happy with my purchase. I am able to play Fallout NV, 3, 4, and 76.
Love my ally but defect rate for analog sticks is beyond awful I had mine replaced 4 times now and still need a replacement for my left analog -_- also the back plate grips rub down till there is no texture left but thankfully I bought a mod backplate to replace
@@MekelKasanova Dude, it's because it sounded robotic, not that you did something wrong. I'm wondering how did you get your sneeze to sound like that. Did u put auto tune or something?
Its funny how people hate on RoG Ally 😂 its the most powerful handheld + 1080p & VVR etc , its ok steam deck fanboys we understand your loyalty but god damn 😂 deal with it its better that your 720p deck
The only thing is how long is this chipset going to be good for until it’s obselete. Like when the new monster hunter, ff and black myth wukong. Anyone think this is going to be able to run those type of games.
I'd give it another 6-12 month of AAA game compatibility. I'm not expecting many 2024 games to be as difficult to run as Alan Wake 2. Beyond 2024, all bets are off. The Steam Deck AAA compatibility essentially ended 6 months ago.
thats why i got the ally rog instead of the steam deck i have emulators ps1 ps2 ps3 psp ps vita n64 game cube wii and wii u and switch games on my and ds and 3ds gameboy and color and yea i got this one because i did not want too go through loop around and i play ginshin and honkai allot and few epic gmes ubisoft and blizard games i glad i did not buy the steam deck
There are no revised models, that was a random floating rumor with zero evidence to back it up. R8, R9, whatever, it still happens. They've not done anything to fix the sd card issue. Those who have rma'd their units are still going have a chance the card reader will fail. It's the luck of the draw whether you get a unit that won't have a faulty sd card reader. Probably shouldn't pass off hearsay as fact.

I'm definitely feeling alot better, hopefully by next week I;ll be fully recovered. Which of the two are you leaning more towards buying?

ahh I see. I haven't run into any issues with it on SF6. I need to try it on a NRS game one of these days

What do you look for to see what revision you have? I’ve own mine for 3 weeks but was an open box.

Their buttons are sticking because they be eating chips and playing too much. Don't ask how I know.😂
You mentioned you’re a Bandai Namco creator? What does that mean? Sounds pretty cool. Great video btw.
It’s a creator program for selected folks to get access to Bandai Namco games and more and attend events and such like an ambassador of sorts

Battery life is definitely an issue with this device. It's not a handled pretty much a PC that needs to be plugged in.
Bro look like Lil John 😂
ok?

well my information was directly from the Asus rep that worked on mine plus their PR person so thats what I went off of not hearsay.
He got his info from a Asus rep, where did you get your information that they've done nothing from?....... If you don't mind me asking.
