    It´s so deeply sad that everybody abandoned the Burmese people, even the human rights activists. The only thing known about Burma in my country is the fact, that the current prime minister made some millions of dollars with a NGO established for "helping Burmese women", which never was in Burma and did nothing useful. Otherwise nobody even knows that this land is in a state of total war. And the world will continue "not caring".

      May I ask what country? I am in Canada (Windsor, ON) and you're right man, I don't hear a hing from the mainstream media here either, not for years and years. Like nothing ever happened in Myanmar... even though when it first started that's all that CBC reported on for a good year at least. =\

      NGO's and charities are and always have been fronts for banks and the UN was their primary vehicle.
      Reporters were and always have been shills for them as well. They've started every war since Napoleon. Every "human rights!" campaign and funded every dictator, whether you call them right or left. Every genocide, coup, counter coup, slavery and anti slavery, communist or capitalist or fascist and revolution.

    I traveled across Africa for 6 months on a truck tour, when I was a lot younger. On the border with Rwanda, where the Gorillas in the Mist troop were located, we could hear artillery every night. The genocide had begun. Where we were, near a place called Goma, 40,000 refugees later died from cholera and lack of water. Mankind comes from the Latin root 'Mentis' meaning 'to think'. Mankind is the thinking kind and womb-man-kind is the thinking kind with a womb. Everything that happens on the earth starts first in the mind. It has nothing to do with politics, accents, or culture. It's the minds of men. I just happened to watch a video shortly before this about the rise of narcissism. There was a study done in the 80's and redone recently, that showed a 70% rise in the absence of care for others between the 80's and now. We're not in a good place as a species.

    I'm not partial to Myanmar, one way or the other - but - I DO appreciate when someone reports on stories that for whatever reason are completely passed over by MSM. If it weren't for your very diverse content I would know NOTHING of this struggle in Myanmar. For that I thank you because these stories / events / disasters that you report on deserve to be told.

    The historic General who said "War is Hell" was right, but this goes beyond that. This was senseless murder of helpless innocents. This atrocity does indeed need to be brought to public consciencenous.

    • @Arkeo36
      @Arkeo36 7 месяцев назад

      Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman said "war is hell" almost sarcastically, as if to say he was bound to prosecute a months-long terror campaign because war is hell. He and the men under his command were responsible for the same kind of atrocities as are discussed in this video, but he is considered a hero because his targets were the "right kind" of people. I bet the inncoent people of Gaza know what it feels like - for the last 50 years.

    I wouldn't ask why you're reporting on this. I'd only ask that you report as much, and as often, as you can stomach. You're sadly right, just about nothing in this conflict is deemed worthy of press coverage. Whatever noise you can make about this injustice is worth making.

    Thank you Ed. At any one time there are many conflicts around the world that mainstream media does not or is unable to report. The Junta in Myanmar is particularly repressive, and racial, tribal, religious and social differences seem to be the trigger for these actions. Even personal grievances and slights can excite this kind of retribution by the “authorities “. Al the signs of the power hungry, avaricious and unsophisticated warlords.

    Keep up the good reporting. I am deeply saddened by my country, the United States, the World Powers and the World News, ignoring the Burmese People by doing nothing to stop these atrocities. Someone besides the Burmese government has to be behind this. In the very least, someone does care, you care, the video and news got out. Thank you Mr. Ed Nash, for caring.

      China is pretty much Myanmar's main if not only supporter. They have plans for a pipeline and development of a seaport to bypass the Malacca Strait and neutralize any blockade by the US. However, the Pudding Head regime is pro-China so will do nothing to aggravate their comrades.

    Thanks Ed, And yes we should I don't know why so little is done to help these people from harm. I worked for a drilling company as a safety trainer, and was tasked with training a crew to work on a new platform . Back then we use an observational intervention card to document individuals when a person intervened when noticing an unsafe act or condition. I asked as an easy way to introduce the cards to the crew would they please write and say what they saw when walking or traveling home for the night. What an eye opener!! the one that stood out most was a couple of the guys asked the police men to stop waving there guns around as they might shoot someone by accident… (In my innocence i did not then realise quite how badly the populous were treated. I was overwhelmed at how kind but innocent they were and even then could see they would get crapped on by all the greedy sods out there) you keep posing Ed

    This is what such dictatorships do, wait for things to flare elsewhere and then get a few dirty attacks in hoping the world at large will be too distracted to notice. Soviets did the same thing in Hungary during the Suez crisis.

    REALITY.
    While folks think they
    "Save Lives" by going opposite of President Trump, not owning firearms, and not eating meat....THIS is what too many experience. Half of my families are from Mexico. This would not phase them, as it is typical in so many ways.
    I believe only the God of all creation can, and will, make things right...And justice will be strong. There is a fake god that is the real cause of this.
