Durch ihren Sound weht der Geist von Grateful Dead und die Intensität von Monster Magnet. Vor allem aber beeindrucken Temple Fang durch eine Live-Präsenz auf High-Energy-Level. Wo die Band aus Amsterdam ist, da faucht das Psychedelic-Monster - und hat auch Space Rock in seinem heißen Atem.
Vier Musiker insgesamt, zwei linkshändige Gitarristen und dazu das Energie-Potenzial sämtlicher Mucki-Buden einer Millionenstadt - das sind die Eckdaten von Temple Fang aus Amsterdam. Gegründet von Dennis Duijnhouwer, ehedem Bassspieler bei Death Alley, füttert die Band aus den Niederlanden das Psychedelic-Monster gerne mit 70s-Rock. Eingebettet in den Soundmix des kernigen Männer-Quartetts sind mitreißende, straighte Vocals, die vom Hochgeschwindigkeitsspiel der Gitarristen Ivy van der Veer und Jevin de Groot flankiert werden.
Die Bühnen-Wucht von Temple Fang ist beeindruckend, und mindestens genauso bemerkenswert ist, dass die Band ihren Druck- und Energielevel auch auf „Fang Temple“ hält. Zu den Songs ihres 2022 veröffentlichten Studio-Debütalbums kann man sich die Frisur genauso ordentlich durchpusten lassen wie live vor einer Konzertbühne.

I've been there- or at least in Sagada and Banaue. Hanging coffins on cliff walls and some caves I'm like I can't see shit and guide says just feel for the crevices to put your hands and feet in. Lo and behold he was right. They usually are!
