Excellent video! Just shared with my English sister-in-law, Debbie from Wycombe. She is flying over here on 23rd Sept with my eldest brother plus my 2 nephews, Matthew & Louie. Thanks.
@@sawbeeang7385 My eldest brother's name is Chew Kim Lai while his wife is Debbie from Newscastle. Will get their address for you. Sorry for the late reply! We are from Sungai Petani, Kedah.
The colorful houses are beautiful, they remind me of the row of houses called" the painted ladies" in San Francisco. Love the old architecture. Hope you can show more of these old buildings
I think the best part in Malaysia is that even though it is a small country, it has so many different places to visit with different attractions, culture and food...the road and transportation are also very convenient and easy to access...ive been travelling a lot and some countries really have a pretty amazing place of attraction but sometimes it's quite hard to access and it's quite far from each other...since Malaysia consist of Malay, Chinese & Indian, in terms of foods, they have so many choices of local food plus its quite easy to get outside food like korean, japan, thailand, western and etc...so many thing to see and do in Malaysia...its also quite nice to see all the races live together and they all quite friendly...hope you enjoy your time in Malaysia 😊
Love all your videos 😄 i would like to suggest u both to visit Perlis. They have beautiful green paddy fields, the sunrise from Wang Kelian hill, Kelam cave with waterfall & many more good place to visit. My friend told me you can take the ETS train to go there. Fyi, i never been to Perlis, i wish to go there one day. As of now, i just watch vlogs from the locals who went there.
The best way to try roti canai is to order from the shop that serve the roti separately from the curry gravy especially if you can't handle spicy food.
Durian is the only fruit that you say "I'm stuffed, I won't eat it again," and then a few days later you eat it and go through the same cycle again. I understand what you meant after the Musang King cendol. However, I go for the full fruit.
I guess most ppl first impression about dragon fruit would be tasted sour is mainly because they look like kiwi fruit. I would recommend you try the raw dragon fruit cut into pieces, they do taste very sweet by nature, especially the purple dragon fruits.
You guys should explore more roti canai places in Georgetown. Personally the transfer road roti canai is my least favourite. But if you guys like it, fair enough. there are 2 other roti canai places nearby within walking distance, Argyll road roti canai and Hutton lane roti bakar. Also just across the road from roti canai transfer road, opposite the petrol station there's nasi padang minang located inside international hotel coffee shop that you guys should check out for brunch or lunch. It's usually crowded by lunch hour.
@@sunkissedbucketlist maybe, i'm not so sure about longest table. they also have some seat outside like in garden and pond. At the end they have some kind of bar.
@@sunkissedbucketlist my late father was from georgetown. I had great childhood memories of all the places. Most memorable was the snake temple. But sadly they cut down the forest nearby, so no more wondering snake in the temple. Yes mystical..the snakes came to the temple and did not attack or disturb anyone.
Last time I went to Penang on 2020. Before world lockdown. But I can't eat anything due to I lost my appetite due to my high fever (can'tbe cancelled as I booked hotel and flight before I sick). I should come back to Penang for food revenge 😅.
