Jake (OAA's new vocalist) is a mate of mine and his vocals are genuinely awesome. I've only heard him in person, no mic or speakers and it's mega impressive. Don't get why he's getting a lot of abuse from people who knew their previous vocalist. The band obviously chose him for a reason as well, so I'm pretty certain none of the haters could do better.
RTSRAZORBACK it's weird because I feel like he is a perfect fit. I don't get why some people are so salty. He sounds fucking amazing.

RTSRAZORBACK i saw him live in june, and in my opinion he does not realy fit. I feel like he is overdoing it expecially the lows.

RTSRAZORBACK Jake is a talented vocalist his signing is better than James by a long shot but his screams don't even compare the lows are okay I don't like the technique he uses for his highs. James was killer live! To me jakes just missing something

Omg i'm not alone about falling in love with the backing track, it gives a very emotionel feel to it!
The meaning behind the video is basically the fact that everyone is so absorbed in social media. "incarcerated between these worlds" that's basically saying they are stuck in the world on their cell phone hinting at how the people are next to each other in real life but their eyes are glued to a screen in the video.

Ocean ate Alaska are one of my favourite bands. and i love this song.
I intepret this video as how people become obsessed with themselves in social media and they care a lot about other people's opinion that at just a slightly negative opinion drives them insane and you see a lot of that nowadays man. Is sad where our society is heading...

I've been really into their new album lately. I'm glad you liked this song, it's one of my favorites off the records. The vocalist's range is impressive.
Check out "Vultures & Sharks" from 2015 year album "Lost Isles". They had another vocalist then, but the song itself is amazing

Just came up in my recommended. Not a bad fucking song on this whole album. One of my all time favorites and probably the newest music I can say that about.
Their album is called Hikari - japanese word for Light! And Hansha is the japanese word for reflection, so maybe that helps you interpret the video a bit. Also thier album contains a lot of japanese instruments so that is what you hear in the background of the song, making it more ambient and much more throughout the album. So cool! I Love this album so much, and hansha is deffo my fav track, also Escapist, you should check it out if you havent already!

It’s about how people are too drawn to their phones and don’t interact with each other anymore. The video shows that our cellphones are taking away who we really are and what makes up individuals. We would prefer to be on our phone than socialize. Funny thing is I first watched that video on my phone. 😂😂😂.

Not a song that shows their full capabilities but does show their versatility. Check out The Escapist. Gives you a real good idea of what they are really about on this album.

It's from their other album but with their old vocalist but it's one of their best song in my opinion along with vultures and sharks.
Their old vocalist had sick cleans and his screams were just in a whole other level!
