Good review. Have the Levoit as well…and have also done a test. Amazing performance

I don't know how you do your reviews most people know who's done the reviews that the Dyson doesn't do hardly anything, I have a Dyson hot and cool it's just an expensive fan, I don't notice an air quality difference at all, it just runs up my electric bill

You can read about our testing procedure on the Air Purifier First website.
Actually, the Dyson TP02 cleans the air but much slower and less efficiently than some competitive air purifiers. I can't say that it doesn't do anything, as it actually does clean the air, but you can definitely get a much cheaper air purifier with the same or even better performance.

Yeah, that's the problem. I hadn't considered this when I started these tests, so now I have issues with testing tall air purifiers in the glass box.

@@AirPurifierFirst wouldn't taller, narrower box with the same volume work? You could run a test first with purifiers that fit in both boxes.

Does the Levoit 100s compete with the Dyson?

If we consider the price-to-quality ratio, then it might.

On amazon Levoit claims 1800 sq ft.

Yes, but it will only clean the air once every hour in such a room, which isn't enough for dealing with airborne particles. The industry standard is 4.8 ACH (air changes per hour), which is 219 sq. ft. for this model.
Levoit could claim that this air purifier can also clean the air in a 3600 sq. ft. room, but how efficiently?
