  • The corner of Mill Road and Main Street in Yaphank hasn't changed all that much over the past 85 years. If you happened to have been there in the summer of 1937, you might almost even recognize it today.

Why do people talk sh*t about things they know of?
You HAVE No idea what you’re talking about?
Yes, there are (many) German-American resident in Germans Gardens (as us neighbors call it).
And in the past 50-ish years there’s been one “significant” local politician And he, like all local politicians, had nothing to do with the “courts” or the “Police department.”
There are no courts in Yaphank nor have there ever been. And NO one from German gardens or Yaphank proper has any “control over them.” The courts are not “controlled” by any group or individuals. Making such a comment is foolish, uninformed and ignorant.
And although the police headquarters is in Yaphank (as of 1991) it, like every county department is “controlled,” first, by the county and second, by the police commissioner (which has never been a German-American from Yaphank.
I strongly urge/suggest/recommend that you remove your 1,000 percent incorrect and 1,000 percent ignorant comment.
FYI, Contrary to what you may think; I’m not a Nazi supporter, not “fan of “old Germany” nor am I even German. I am however, half Jewish. And, I’m someone who (actually) knows local history.

Not in New York. Nazis are similar to lefty Democrats. Biden is like Hitler with his gun control initiatives.

Leave it to a pro-death lib fascist to characterize the most anti-Nazi thinker in the history of the American presidency as a Nazi. Libs fundamentally treat life as a utilitarian commodity of convenience, just like their Nazi counterparts.
