Jake, I say, this has to be your best work yet! It's such a pretty shape for a shoe. Bravo!
Thanks Josh 👍🏼🔨
Thank you for the video. What was the purpose of the heartbar on this horse? Will he always need heartbar shoes? Do you need any compression material in between the frog and the shoe? Thank you
I can imagine with all that bending you do to trim these hooves. That you'd probably require some kind of chiropractic Care. Maybe you can get a sponsor!
Outside of that this is the best part of my day I get to relax and just enjoy the show.
Awesome as always
Very amazing horse shoes
What is the purpose of the shoe being under the frog? I don't think I've seen a shoe like that on the channel yet.
Some shoes have a bar under the frog because the frog is under run and it needs pressure to pump the blood back to the heart, other times, there is a bar under the frog just because the horseshoe that is made, needs to have additional support to distribute the weight of the horse, so that the one effected area isnt getting pressure on it. Does that make sense ?
@@melanisticmandalorian, I think so yes and thank you. Scenario 1, the frog isn't touching the ground enough to help pump blood back to the heart. Scenario 2, there's something wrong with foot and giving the shoe more area to bear on will reduce the pressure on a bad spot or the entire hoof in general?
This is so relaxsing
Algm hr eu vo acabar vendo todos os vídeos desse canal, viciada
Could you show your unquenching I guess that's what it's called up the nails in the horses hook
Everytime i watched horse, always till the end.
Wow new shoes! I've been away too long😊
me encanta este maravilloso canal
This might be a stupid question, but why not make the nails slightly shorter so you don't have to grind the sharp points off the hoof?
So at around 7 minutes or so, see how after he cuts the nails he then bends the last bit down again?
It's so the horse shoe can't fall off easily, nor the nail can cause any issues being snagged up when it's both bent down in a light J shape, and rounded/flatten/smoothed off.
Hope this answers it!
@@ForbiddenFan13 That does make sense! Thank you!
It's nice when those heartbars go straight on out the packet.
Means you can get to the pub early!
excellent‼️
A general question. I've noticed that the frog can be black or yellow or white. What causes this ?
its just that color that the horse has, its diffrent to every horse
Does any of this hurt the horse? Such as the hammering of nails into the hooves and putting the hot metal on them
its like human's nails. Basically, u dont feel hurt when u cut ur overlong nails, as well as horse hooves.
Plus, if it hurts the horse, the horse will let you know.
Ayyy early! Love ur vids
☺
Super!!!!!!👍👍👍💥
Just a quick question: does none of this hurt the horse? It’s it easy to make a horses hoof to bleed?
When the job is done right it will not hurt the horse. I’m not saying it’s not hard to make a horses hoof bleed because if you hit it in the right spot it will but they have a lot of hoof horn normally before you can reach the point of making it bleed.
Thank you for explaining that for me
No, if done correctly it's pretty much exactly like giving them a nail trim. If you cut your own nails too short it hurts and maybe bleeds. Same thing here
U r always legend Big fan love u

There is never any commentary and you dont tend to respond to questions.
What causes the hooves to be so brittle?
Bruh yeah dude how
There are different reasons why hoofs can be brittle. It could be genetic or caused by an illness like laminitis. Maybe the horses diet isn't ideal and it lacks nutrients. Or it could simply be down to the location or the season. In hot dry climats or during dry sommer month hoofs sometimes lack moisture and become hard and - if the conditions don't change - brittle.
Or it could be a little bit of everything. It's hard to say for sure if you don't know the horse.
😍🥰😍
