The Grand Parkway is an interesting road, though I feel that TxDOT did compromise standards in places, such as leaving out acceleration lanes in places (not to mention the narrow overpass at FM 2920). Oh, and this comment was made three years to the day (2/11/19) that this video was recorded (2/11/16). It would be nice to at least see some of the substandard configuration fixed in that time, but I doubt anything was done.
I’ve noticed a similar thing as well but I guess that just saying “FREE EXIT” doesn’t make the point of needing to exit at that exit to avoid paying the toll
I heard it was going to be 184mi around loop when it's done 😮😮😮 nearly 200mi .... then watch in about 15yrs from that they will be starting another road even further out ... dam Houston gone be the earth's largest metro region by area

Nice to see how clean the grassy areas along the tollways are around Houston. Most of the nation's highways seems to be mostly weeds and trash.
There's construction going on on SH 99 toll that meets IH 10 going toward Baytown TX

And they charge you $5 for each toll violation in this road, found that out the hard way over a year ago
Interesting to see LAST FREE EXIT signs when in reality you can exit and enter, exit and enter on segment D without an EZTAG.

I used go to Grand Pkwy (Toll road) and go Interstate 69.
