Using The Behringer BCA2000 in Windows-7 OS

- In this video the Behringer BCA2000 is highlighted in a working Windows-7 32bit OS (with XP Drivers).
Discussed are the BCA2000 main features, connections and benefits over other such models (can also be use as simple Stand-Alone Mixer) along with some general points regarding PC based Digital Audio Interface devices used for home Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
The BCA2000 is now 'End of Service Life' product - The last [end of service] driver, rev.2.1.0.11 is '32bit was for Win-XP' (x86). But: Windows-7, 32bit (x86) is very downward compatible with XP applications [Win-Vista is not at all], so the last BCA2000 driver [2.1.0.11] will work well [but not totally perfect] in Win-7 x32. It will NOT WORK in x64 bit OS and there is 'NO x64 Driver'.
2.1.0.11 driver is what I’m using in Win7-Pro, 32bit. Make sure all updates to Windows are applied, close all app’s and disable anti-virus for the install. Don't plug BCA USB until after the drivers.
Companies do, sometimes End of Service (drop) a product mid-life and this does really screw-up peoples plans for equipment, system integration and is why you need to protect yourself and your $ investment into a product by asking the rep's many questions and sticking to reputable companies and products but that alone isn't even 100% as we can see time and again. The BCA2000 was/is a very good product (as was the BCF and BCR) but marketing ideas don't always see eye-to-eye with product design.

If you pay attention to what this video guy said and many others online that actually use this Behringer BCA2000, not only does it work on Windows XP 32 bit, but it also works with Windows 7 32 bit, Pro or Home/Standard. But it only works on the 32 bit versions of Windows XP and 7 operating systems. I believe it does also work on Windows Vista 32 bit as well. Behringer for some reason abandoned the drivers for this cool little ADAT mixer, why I do not know
Sometimes it is due to marketing screw-up's other times by being pressured by the industry that a product is invading another's rights (DRM- Digital Rights Management, etc).

Didn't mean to appear that I had not answered Frank's question but it was answered in another post.
1- Must be used in correct OS.
2- Driver must be installed correctly (USB attached, driver loaded, and BCA ON before starting audio software app).
3- Requirement is that audio software app 'must be compliant with ASIO' (attached) devices or it's a No-Go & No Workie.
Here is some driver information to help in verifying the OEM Driver.

I own a BCA2000 audio mixer and I am running windows 8. The Mixer simply does not work for me. When connected my device manager labels it "Unsupported Device". When I troubleshoot the result tab reads "No Drivers Found". When I download the driver from the website and install it the installation times out or I get a message in the installation tab that reads "Cancelled By User". Is there anything i can do to get this mixer to work on windows 8?

There are no drivers for Win-10 OS (end of life for the Behringer BCA2000 was Win-XP 32bit (x86)

Behringer BCA2000 is compatible with programs that use 'Mackie Control device. So, yes if you can select ''Mackie Control'.

hey man i have question when i recording on bca2000 i get wird "crackling" noise is very irritating, i have 2.1.0.6 driver on my xp(same thing happend on win7) i'm using Maudio Nova mic.thx..
+Mladi ISKOU - Most likely you're having Latency Issues. For any DAW to work properly you need to disable ALL non-essential apps and services within the OS, use fast HDDs, CPU and lots of RAM. Start with disabling ALL non-essential apps and services (Network, Security and Internet) and be sure to setup audio hardware correctly and use only ASIO device drivers and have all updated device driver also. Also; from a cyber-security standpoint, I would advise all to be very careful of downloading such a driver from just any FTP site. There are many in cyber-land who wish to exploit you and do you harm by giving you the driver you’re looking for ‘Freely’ but may include a big (Bad) surprise in the form of a Trojan, malware, worm, keylogger, botnet or any number of cyber-hacks. ‘Be vigilant.’

+Scott Osterloh - If I understand the question (please clarify if not answered); No, this is first a hard-surface device, AD/DA interface for PC software app's and 2nd, a very simple stand-alone mixer. Some audio record/mix/edit computer programs have read/write fader capability. I have used this with Audition-3 and I hear that Behringer is Mackie machine compatible.

Hi; It was mentioned, this is '32bit (x86) software'. You can create (on your x64 OS box) a 32bit OS virtual machine and then install the driver/software within that OS.
